Located inland south of Brittany, Les Ajoncs D’or sits in the heart of Pont-Aven. It offers rooms with cable TV and free Wi-Fi access. Lorient Airport is only a 30-minute drive away and Quimperlé Train Station is 17 km from the property.
Many famous painters lived in Pont-Aven, including Paul Gauguin. That is why all rooms have been renovated in the spirits on these artists.
Les Ajoncs D’or’s restaurant serves daily buffet breakfast and regional cuisine, with seafood. You can also relax and have a drink on the outdoor terrace.
Take a walk along the Aven River, or to the Bois d’Amour, which inspired so many painters. The hotel is also located right next to the city’s fine arts museum, where you can discover the Pont-Aven school. Other nearby activities include fishing, cycling and horse riding.
Brest Airport is an hour's drive away and Nantes Airport is a 2-hour drive from the property.

What people say
The hotel is in the centre of Pont Aven, ideal for visiting all the artists galleries, shops, the port and river. Staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
right in the middle of town so very handy, could dry our motorbike gear on the rads, and had a good meal in the hotel restaurant tho there were plenty of other places open in town.
Good location in interesting area. The rooms were spacious and "French". We only ate in the restaurant once, food was good but service slow. We would stay here again. all reviews »
Staff were very helpful and said we could keep bikes on the terrace. All facilities were good and we had an excellent evening meal where the staff were very supportive.
An ideal hotel to represent the quaintness and charm of Pont Aven
itself. The bilingual staff provide excellent, gracious service.
Perfect location!.
In centre of town but quiet at night. Good breakfast , friendly staff.
Parking was not always available outside the hotel and I was not impressed by the meal we had in the hotel restaurant.
If you wanted to watch TV very much you would get a stiff neck due to the TV position.
No complaints!.
Room a bit small. Lots of stairs.
