After driving along a great coastal route between Calvi and Ajaccio you arrive at this very charming, majestic, old characteristic hotel. Make sure you have room with a view cause this is spectacular! If you don't: you'll have the same view from a nice terrace where you can watch the sunset or have breakfast. The hotel has charm of a past era and a magnificent. Our bedroom was a bit tired but the ambiance of the whole hotel made up for it. The view from the terrace and dining room was worth the visit alone. We had a very good meal in the dining room but a little expensive. The owner is charming and very welcoming and a stay here is well worthwhile. We loved it.
Location, quiet, family owned, good food , nice good people who make their best to give you the like home feeling. Very old 3 floor building, well maintained, fast wi-fi.
Charming old hotel to which you could expect "Hercule Poirraut" turning up for a week end holiday. Very good restaurant and a magic view over montains and sea. The place has a unique atmosphere and I would recommend my friends a stay here.
Location in piana was the best. Included breakfast was good. The ambience was lovely and subordinate staff were helpful and friendly.
The place still has its charm but renovation is needed. The rooms are big with high ceelings but VERY noise. You can hear the neighbors above, next door and under even talking! Still: for one night it's worth it!.
Old wooden floor let you know exactly how active the couple at the upper floor are, and indeed they were.
In our booking the deal was a room with balcony. Our room did not have a balcony and when trying to correct that we were very rudely answered that "this happens all the time with letsbookhotel.com". If this is so I wonder why they do not fix that problem? It is certainly not the guests fault. This impolite behaviour from the reception put a bad feeling on our stay but the beautiful surrounding made it better.
The hostess's manner was unwelcoming on arrival and overpriced. We requested heating three times also wifi would not work and asked for more soap. Much better value closeby did not feel comfortable there.
