The staff spoke English which was incredibly helpful.Very quiet neighbourhood, perfect english speaking and helpful staff, good location close to city center.staff can speak english and is helpful with providing information of many kinds. the neighborhood is calm and nice, no traffic at all. 2 subway stations/lines: Alesia and Plaissance: 7 and 10 minutes walking respectively. They have Starbucks nearby which is very important in the early morning when you are about to start a long and saturated typical tourist day. nothing special. Cheap hotel with no frills, but OK when it comes to the things which really count for a short stay: clean and tidy room, good location (10' walk from the metro), nice price and friendly staff.Hotel's staff are very kind and friendly. I can't speak French. but, I could communicate to staff with English.The price and the beautifull location.The breakfast room. good price and location. near the tube. the room was also nice with a reasonable size bathroom. close to where I needed to be : Portes de Versailles. A bit run down at the heels with very small rooms though this is typical of other hotels in Paris. I've stayed in worse and paid more money. I plan to stay at this little hotel again for future Paris visits.breakfast could be more imaginative. the hotel is too far from the metro stations. My suggestions for improvement: provide the rooms with sat TV (in my room there was only a normal TV set) and give more options for the breakfast (very basic indeed). You should bring the map, if you will visit the hotel. (location is difficult) but, I felt this hotel's location is good and safety.Could be cleaner. the sheets weren't changed from the last person who staid in the room. it is normal that for this price you can't exect 5 stars service but this was a bit too much.Noise, draft...very small bathroom. some noise in this hotel. Only 1 staff could speak English well and I was lucky to check in when he was in the reception. Lift was broken first day, but fortunatley they repair it soon. Although we had written clearly that we need a baby cot, but cot was not placed in the roon when we enter.The blankets in the room were not washed, as there was a lot of hair stuck on it. Disgusting and unhygienic.Extremly tiny room where the wallpaper is hanging down the walls, tornapart. We had one tiny pillow each; was the hight of two t shits layingtogether. (Had to sleep on jackets) We only got a thin blanket over thebed so we had to sleep under the actual sheets you supposed to be layingon top of. Cleaning lady left our door wide open after cleaning:everyone could walk in and take our money and pas. poor maintaince of the room, cracked loose washbasin, loose switches,t.v remote broken, t.v did not work properly.
