Friendly and helpful staff. We had a suite, which was an upgrade but was truly spectacular. Really great location, one block to the Louvre. 1/2 block to the closest Metro. Would go back in a heartbeat. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the spa pool was brilliant. The hotel is very central to all the main tourist attractions and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by.all reviews
The entire staff was very accomodating and people friendly. The hotel did not have a concierge and the front desk team worked very hard to comepnsate for that. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the spa centre is nice, the room is just great and the food - delicious. I am sure to return to this hotel!. I can easily say that hotel was in the city centre, near the most famous monuments and not the long distance walk to Eifel Tower and shopping areas. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very nice - clean, large and smoke-free. The location is excellent!. frindly environment , help offiring with asking and cleaness. The staff was very helpful with checkin and other arrangements. Ourjunior suite was perfect for three people. Lots of space. Helpfulness of the staff in booking the Lido, dealing with our enquiries. The health centre, friendliness of staff, robes for the children for spa. the location, the garden and the classic style of the hotel. very helpful staff. location. The reception staff was helpful, courteous and cordial. The rate was half of normal because of ongoing renovations, which did not impact our stay at all.Very courteous staff. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. It was central to everywhere I wanted to see.The location was terrific!!!. location services comfort. Staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and tended to our needs. They gave great advice regarding sightseeing. I had forgotten to pack my tie and the staff really tried to help me get a replacement. I also liked the bathroom set up - shower and separate tub.location and swimming pool -that was the reason of our choice. My daughter likes to swim but the time for children was reduced to 7 p.m.Location. Freindly and helpful staff. Excellent room.Very quiet room, clean, spacious suite. Nice pool. The swimming pool and the location of the hotel. Good staff. Room is wide and good.Locatioon was great. Excellent location opposite Tuileries gardens and metro station. Public areas of hotel attractive and staff courteous and helpful. English spoken by all staff we spoke to. Room layout (junior suite) ideal for family with two children.Housekeeping. Hotel was clean and room was quite impeccable, even with hotel renovation in progress. And the location is perfect. Full tariff for the room would have been rediculous, but booking price (discount) was - just - OK.location ..central but also directly oppositve metro station .. many facilities at hotel ...Everything was well organised and would go back if in paris again. The Manager was very helpful when we needed to move rooms.Location, cleanliness.Location. Very central location, but quiet room, nicely reconstructed historical building, very cosy bar with kind and professional staff. Garden in the court - very nice in summer. Room was a bit small for 4 people. Toilet was separate to bathroom and it was the size of a wardrobe!. It's very convenient and central. The staff are very helpful andpleasant.Friendliness of the staff and its excellent location. good location and excellent service.good location, kindness of staffs. Central location, beautiful area. Perfect location, nice staff. The location was excellent. staff nad location!!. The Location. Close to tourist activities and metro and had airconditioning which wasa plus for this time of year. Staff was friendly although disorganized. Location is very good. Restaurants, shops, taxis, metro and Louvre. Very easy to reach other points of interest.Central location, comfortable, dining room lovely, staff helpful. the close proximity to all areas of tourist interest. It had a good location and the pool was very nice. Wi-fi was not accessible- but perhaps that was a blessing in disguise !. The cost of the food was expensve in the hotel. The layout of the room for being a junior suite was not very logical, but truly cannot complain because of the price. It looked that air-condicion wasn't working, so in the mornings it was a bit too hot, but as we spend all day in the city it wasn't a big problem. breakfast exclusion, and the none availability of C/T facilitiy. Time for a little updating of the bathrooms, Mold on the shower grout,in spite of touchups; also in the pool dressing room. You could see thepeeling paint on the other windows. I wish they would build in theinternet use into the rate rather than pay such high rates for usage. Also internet coverage did not reach into our room. The staff made otherarrangements for us/. The room was a bit drab.Cost of spa treatments too high. Lifts a bit slow. The doormen did not open doors. That would have been nice. The fire-alarm went off on the Friday and Saturay morning at 7am.breakfast was not included in the rate. First hotel room did not have a working heater; however, the next day they switched the room and transferred my bags while I was away sightseeing. Really liked the new room as it was surpisingly spacious and had a nice bathroom set up.the procedure of using swimming pool - we need to come there in our robes, the price on breakfasts was too high, almost as in Angelina :). The hotel is under renovation and this is uncomfortable. They didn´t have food service and the main entrance to the hotel was blocked. We had to walk a lot with our lugagge because the taxis in Paris are not as freindly as the hotel staff.Lifts were erratic. Breakfast room was too small for number of guests so queues formed at times. The excessive price of drink in the bar. Room is a little dark for us.Beds were not as comfortable as might be expected, especially the rollaway bed downstairs.Nothing that couldn't be helped. Yes - hotel needs (current) renovation, but it's a period building, so expect some imperferctions anyway. Yes - breakfast and (mini)bar are overpriced, but much cheaper (and good) alternatives are at 1 minute walking distance (Rue and Marché St. Honoré).Very poor internet facilities and expensive ..10 euro for 15 minutes .lift almost impossible to use with key ..which always caused delays .. never complain about staff but on this occasion they were truly bad..just total chaos ..as it was widespead feel it must be an overall management problem ..no motivation. The first two rooms we were allocated were terrible, smelly and dirty carpets. Only after complaining and asking for a room, where we could pick up the wi-fi did the Manager give us a really good room, much to the disapproval of the girl working the front desk...One of the hotel personnel at the reception who was processing our bill when we were checking out was very arrogant with an attitude. His conduct was not very professional, but I didn't notice his name. It was morning of January 26th, 08. This was completely unjustified we did not do anything to deserve such treatment.Beakfast too low value for money - small room - so queues for free table, small selection of food for such a price 24 EUR.. Hotel spa has no dressing room at all - so the guest has to take siwm-suit and the bathrobe and go through the lobby full of people.Rooms that are shown in brochure in hotel do not reflect the room you get! Rooms in brochure are obviously in the executive section. The Wireless internet is erratic. The tv signal on English languagestations is often very poor. The room service menu is very limited. Ihope this will improve when the renovations are complete and therestaurant returns.they came in our room to clean before 9 a.m. without any notice.Yes... The room did not resemble photos displayed on the Hotel's website at all. Furthermore the entire room had a moldy smell. Overall theroom was very basic. It reminded of converted servants' quarters. The size for the bed is not a king for a superior room. The hotel did an upgrade to a junior suit but beds still small. Bath tub is over used and rusted.they gave me a room for disable people. The rooms were old fashioned for a 4 star. The room on the streetside was pretty noisy (from the street) - it should be better people be informed of the risk?. lifts, only lifts. Trying to get service at the bar, the food prices, the trouble withour keys (constantly) and trying to get help with that as well astrying to schlep our bags up and down all the stairs to our room. Wecould find no help. Our room faced out onto a lovely courtyard, below which was the piano bar. At night the double doors from the bar to the courtyard are open and the piano played until 1am, making it impossible to get to sleep even with the bedroom windows shut!!!. requirement to reserve a deposit on your visa card at reception which was not handled discreetly by reception staff. our rooms were not ready for us when we arrived at 3 pm after having travelled for over 20 hours, we were exhausted, so i was truly annoyed. The rooms we were allocated were nothing like those that were described at the time of booking - the standard of 1 room was very poor, and the 2nd suite for 3 people only had 1 bed. Staff did change the 1st room after 1 night. We were on holiday but the hotel seemed to cater more for those on work conferences.
