Location was pretty good. Only 10min walk from Bastille and also 5min walk from Breguet Sabin. There were many cafes and restaurants near by the accomodation. Especially the owner, Caroline was so nice and kind that she can touch anybody come to the accomodation, and we were also touched from our hearts. Even if we broke the lamp just beside our bed, she wasn't be angry at all. She asked us if we were OK and said not to be sorry and depressed. We tried to charge for the damage, but she denied. .
all reviews » Caroline, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor was new and vibrant but most importantly clean! The bathroom in the comfort double room was fantastic and very modern. The location was great, with a vibrant traditional cafe strip at the of the road and subway stations 5 mins away. Breakfast was simple and enjoyable. This is a perfect stay for a solo traveller or young couple on a city break. Would most definately recommend it. 1- The location is GREAT, it's in the Bastille area which is full of restaurants all within a 10min walk. 2- The room was light, airy and large and very comfortable. 3- The host (Caroline), she's a sweetheart, she is very friendly and always happy to give help and advice how to get to all the major attractions - which we found easiest to go to by Metro, she gave me a ticket :) 4- The room was very clean, a big LCD with private decoder and WiFi. The location is the Bastille area which is full of bars, restaurants all within a 10min walk. The room was light, airy and large and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and always happy to give help and advice how to get to all the major attractions- which we found easiest to go to by Metro and then stroll back along the river/gardens and taking in the atomsphere. All in all a great hidden gem and well worth the money. Excellent location. Found it easy to find and very near the public transport system. Great area of Paris with loads of bars and restaurants. Markets in the day time. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. Carolyn could not have done more to make us feel welcome, comfortable and accomodated. The room was perfect! A great place to stay for a short break. You'd better come to this accomodation by tracking the ADDRESS. Without further instruction from the directions given on letsbookhotel.com you would not find the hotel/ apartment. However once clarified, it was no problem. We stayed at the weekend and the street noise could be faily noisy and go on till late - but none more so than any other city location we have stayed in so please do not let this put you off. The room did not have enough storage space. I personally would prefer more storage space for our clothing and access to a kettle to make hot drinks after strolling through the town all day. Having to leave. Absolutely nothing. Absolutely nothing. It would be good to have some more diversity in the breakfast (we had exactly the same breakfast 3 days in a row). Apartments are the part of owner house, so u can't behave loud, more for mature couples. The bedroom was very small- not enough room for luggage. nothing at all. There was no big mirror in the room No place to hang coats Poor signal to WiFi No armchair or chair There was no minibar/fridge. Nothing,it was great. Just a little trouble finding it, getting into it. It would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.
