Easy access to the metro, the room was cleaned daily, the staff spoke English (also Italian, Spanish etc), quiet area, lots of restaurants, bistros and supermarkets near the hotel. Perfect for a budget trip. We were satisfied a lot. It was perfect for us.Very good value for money compared with similar Paris hotels. Hotel is accessible to the main sights - by the Metro line 7, you're only 10 minutes away from the Louvre. Hotel is clean, very helpful staff, plus free internet access.

The lift was a bit scary, because it didn't work perfectly. The environment of the hotel is not so safe.Could really use some satellite TV. noisy air-conditioning,. lower comfort but fair. Well only thing I didn't liked was the shower as the space was less.The free Internet is very slow and sometimes it doesn't work at all. area is very dirty....but we new about that in advance. The hotel did not have cable TV and refrigerator. One could hear easily the noise from the street, but it was not disturbing. toilette and bathroom in one room, no window and no possibility to ventilate. :(. fungus on the shower doors. The furniture is not up to date and in one night the neighborhood was noisy.Only that the bed was very uncomfortable - too hard. Situated in a less nice area of Paris, didn't always feel safe when walking the streets in the dark (quite a long walk to the metro station).the bath tub does not drain very well. no english TV programme. Small room looks old. There's no airconditioning in the room, and the lights in the room weren't bright enough. During my 4 nights stay, 2 nights was without hot water. The nearest metro station is Crimee, the walk is about 5 mins (not far) However it was a bit dark and quite at night (after 10 pm). Hotel was far from major sites. the information of the location is not clear. We had a 20 month old child with us and they could not provide a cot.They were on the third floor and the windows were very low and did nothave child locks on them, although there was a balastrade it was alsolow enough for the child to fall out of. Although the area south of the hotel is fine, the areas north and west of it are pretty nasty. I'd definitely stay away from the Rue Tanger area.Breakfast wasn't worth the price. The food was a bit scant. soiled bed covers and blankets. One of the staff members came in into our room without knocking at 4pm on the day when we checked in. When we asked at the reception they said it was normal. We don't think it is.
