What people say
Very nice hotel with a great location and friendly staff. My room was beautiful - I only wished I could stay longer! I love to come back. The rooms are freshly remodeled, and the bed and pillows are verycomfortable. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of room in theshower. The hotel itself is in the perfect neighborhood for a stay inParis, great shopping, excellent food, and close to the metro. Therewere more than enough great sites to see within walking distance of thehotel. I would stay there again.all reviews »
This hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and walking to the sites. The rooms were renovated within the last 2 years. Great Value and comfortable beds. I will be staying there again and have already recommended it to others. Really nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room, great location.Newly rennovated rooms. Location. The room was really modern, very clean and comfortable. Also great location. the room is very nice and calm. The lunch is quite good. The day receptionist was exceptional, helpful quick and polite, the roomwas actually more then I expected,as well as the fact that it's a primelocation, clean, perfect size, great value for money, interior ingeneral although hotel is quite small - the space very welcoming andthought through. We were on the third floor - our room and bathroom were newly decorated and beautifully done, including a fabulous shower in a good sized en suite. The bed was comfortable and the thick curtains meant we slept well (and late) every day.Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed and very clean! Rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Paris...remember, most of these buildings were built a long time ago...smaller rooms. That's just Europe in general. Very nice hotel, good and helpful staff, clean. Last renovations in progress show that the owners take pride in their location. The room was small but has just been well renovated in the very trendy style of a chic boutique hotel. It is the sort of room you would want to spend time in. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and newly redecorated rooms.
Also, central location convenient to all usual attractions. nice ***hotel, staff really professional and for Paris very good location... It's location. The beds are very comfortable.Friendly staff.Location, modern rooms, helpful staff. Very clean, nice bathroom, good value. The situation in Paris. Refenishing rooms. Nice place to stay in Paris, easy to get around and see the sites. Hotelis currently going through a remodel, making it smell like paint and abit dusty. The remolded rooms are very nice and comfortable, although abit cramped. Very nice rooms, recently renovated in warm and contemporary tones, comfortable bed, modern bathroom (the tap with LED is amazing!), good location, friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely stay there again.Beautifully refurbished room, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. Interesting, old cellar where we had breakfast. small room, but nice and cosy, good atmosphere, very french,. Good location, staff were very friendly and helpful. It was new renovating room and very good location.Staff are very helpful and location is nice. central position in paris. air conditioing. room, front desk staff, location. location and very quiet. good location, friendly staff, close to metro station (5 min. walks) if you go by car, nearest parking place very expensive (per day 33 euro), bed and bathroom new and comfortable. Location was great. Lots of great restaurants. Easily accessible to metro and tucked away from all the tourist.Good location of the hotel - room was fine. beautiful room, even if on the small size. location. The hotel is beautifully and stylishly decorated, and the staff were excellent. The location is superb, right by the Place des Vosges.location, the bath facilities. The hotel stair wells were all under construction, ripping out carpets, dry walling etc. The room was fine however the hotel was a mess due to the construction which was very disappointing and without warning. The location was excellent, and most of the staff were very helpful. Location. Very close to Place Des Vosges. Modern room, good bed, contemporary decor, clean bathroom.the location of the hotel is nice and it is close to many cafes and restaurants. the location, the bathroom. location. Our phone in our room didn't work properly so we couldn't make any callsoutside the hotel. However the front desk would always let us use theirphone without any hassels and it worked out because we did not have topay for any phone calls. The rooms do not have any english speakingchannels all the shows are in french and there was no cnn or bbc.Room a bit too small, but still comfortable. Rennovations still occuring should be noted when booking.Facilities-no available computer to check work emails, although ingeneral staff was very helpful, the night receptionists was veryunprofessional (recommended a nearby restaurant it's name he could notremember, could not direct me to a train station I needed to get to etc)but all in all very nice atmosphere. The room did feel a little small, but it may be that the new decor, with a fairly dark colour on walls and ceiling, didn't help that. And the renovations are not yet finished but this didn't really disrupt our stay too much - a few building noises later in the day, a few unfinished spots in the public areas...No free internet, but they have wifi you can pay for if you have your own lap top. If you don't have a lap top, they have nice printouts with maps to the nearest internet cafe. The cable internet connection is not yet set up.There was no indication on the website that the common areas are under renovation. price little bit expensive(rooms). Just missed a fridge. Same downsides as any hotel in Le Marais: old building (but entirely renovated), narrow staircase, lift up to 4th floor only, and limited services as in any small hotel.Room was very small, a repeated request for an extra pillow was ignored. the safe did not work, there was no fridge, sometimes the maid forgot the soap in the bathroom. Some straightforwrd tea and coffee making facilities within the room would be good. It was not finished renovation works out of rooms- stairs for example. It would be better if the window could be opened. I stayed two nights and on the first day, I used a grass. Next day, it was in the refrigerator again without cleaning!. i should have liked a fridge. some english language tv. given the number of english speaking visitors, one tv chnnal at least , say cnn, should be made available. It was under renovation and the room smelled very strongly of paint odor.small room, small elavator, restoration works continued during our stay. The room was a bit small and there was not a bath tub in the room, although the brochure showed a tub. Also, the hotel was under construction at the time.It was in the middle of being redecorated - stairs etc - but this did not really impact negatively. there is no computer connected to the internet in the hotel. there's wifi but no public computer. thin walls, noisy if looking to the street. no hotel info in rooms. There was some kind of generator operating all night just outside the room, making sleep difficult, despite double glazing. I would stay again, however, but ask for a quiet room.small room. It was renovated while I was there but it wasnt mentioned while the reservation. The hotel was actually in renovation process. It was uncomfortable. The hotel was undergoing massive renovation - this was not indicated on your site or when we booked. There was dust and noise, with no lounge facilities available. The special request I made for my wife's 60th birthday breakfast was not met, also the breakfast didnot correspond with what was shown in the room brochure and therefore was vastly overpriced. We recommend it once work is complete. Very small room. Need to solve problem with credit card machine. It does not accept cards with chips. Our card was accepted in all restaurants, shops and museums in Paris during one week, but when we used it in the check-out, it didn't worked, and hotel employee was rude, suggesting that the problem was with our card. Beware: if you have only cards with chips, you may have problem to pay.the building needs to be renovated. rooms, building. very rude staff, hotel was construction site, way overpriced.
