The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel is well located for the markets shops metro, bus routes airport monmartre. In fact I went back a second time for another 2 nights before flying out of paris last sunday. It right next to the metro. Althought it is at the end of a lane.very helpful staff, carried our luggage up 5 levels of stairs. Rooms are small but quite clean. There is a towel, soap and shampoo for each guest. The metro station is just outside the hotel. There are some cheap restaurants and shops in the area so if you don't want to spent a lot of money this is a place for you.

Our room was on the 5 th floor.The stairs were a bit of a nightmare. The room was pretty small, but was comfortable. Not for newly weds or people with children or people who want to spend a lot of time in their room.I had a single room on 5th floor. Although the room was clean, the carpet was deeply stained with unknown fluids. I have never seen such a stained carpet in a hotel room. I would have walked out, had it not bena saturday night at 2000hrs, and I was leaving the next morning at 0700hrs. Staff. This area of Paris is probably not what you expect. Not in great repair really but this is a cheap hotel and for the price its absolutely fine really. 5 flights of steep stairs to our room!!! Actually it was a bit noisy on the street outside - Paris doesn't sleep, but ok. Walls are paper thin so pray you don't get neighbours who want to chat and sing all night!. All the night long we could not sleep because was very noisy on streets.theres no lift....and the room is quite small... very small and our key only worked once out of the 8 days we were there. Could not get even a drink of water at 22.30,. there is no elevator in it. quite noisy (crossroad, thin walls), have to change towels every 2-3 days at least. Rooms are very small and the place is noise. The hotel does not have a elevator.bets!!!!. The rooms were not clean, when we got there. There were chicken bones on the bed!!! They started to clean after we've put the luggages in the rooms, so after seeing the mess, it just didn't feel clean...The cleanliness of the rooms , the small size of the rooms, the installations are not well maintained (lights and heating do not work ). problem with hot water. Despite of what the website syas, the hotel has no parking facility. Noise disturbance from within and around the hotel. The showerdrain was clogged. Very small room without closet, thin walls, no elevator and the the stairway to the rooms is very narrow so it becomes a problem if you have a heavy suitcase.... Only one man on reception desk speeks english...Safety deposit box in the room didn't work. No heating (it was Octobre).bathroom window was jammed open!. Rooms not clean. Lamps not working. Forgot to give us towels one day. Beds no good. TV not working.Cleanliness of the hotel should be improved. The bathroom was not clean too. they sould learn more english ,they must repair the toilet seat they sould give more towels and not only one. the room was very small. I was there once in single room and the size of this room was same, even bathroom was biiger in single room... extremely small rooms, horrible noise outside (square by the hotel is a meeting point of local inhabitants in the night), lack of ventilator in the bathroom (stink and mould). noisiness. very bad expirience. we came at 3:00 Am and our room was taken. the man at the desk was drunk and possibly high...he was sleeping on the sofas when we arrived and he was very ungry at us because of a late arrival.then he wanted to give us single rooms which cost more. and he was very rude...asking us "u want or what?i want to sleep.wanna go somewhere else?" at 3 AM??? very bad service!. It was by far the worst hotel we ever experienced in Paris. There is no elevator, while we stayed at the fifth floor. The room had one single lightbulb, no bedlamps, no toilet seeting, the curtains were torn, there was only one narrow staircase which is a frigthening experience when - like we had - a fire alarm is given and your rooms are at the 5th...
