Beautiful room, superb beds, excellent amenities, exceedingly helpful staff and just a leisurely five minute stroll to the delights of the town of Obernai.   This was the 2nd time I was at the Hotel de La Cloche. Last year I booked a room for two, this year I booked a room for three. The proprieter and his family are very friendly, the place is very clean and comfortable and at a fantastic location right in the centre of town. The price was very good. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for ... what people say » a small extra fee. I recommend this hotel, and in fact passed their information on to a friedn who plans to travel soon in the Alsace region. - Delightful owners. Wonderful ambience in the low ceilinged rooms oozing of history. Very pleasant breakfast at extra cost. Recommendation as to where to dine was excellent though it is unusual that the restaurant of the same name as the hotel is to be stayed away from....but all ok once explained.

  the location was very good, nearby the shops and restaurants ! the appartment is excellent for people with children, very big with an extra sofabed for 2. there was A ktchen with all needs and bathroom was also good ! we certainly go back, ideal for A stop to our ski resort ! - Beautiful little hotel across the street from it's bigger affiliated... what people say » hotel le Columbia.   An excellent location and wonderful staff. This isn't luxury, but an historical building in the perfect location in the most beautiful Alsacian town. You descend the stairs to a quaint and very french dining room , with a fresh baguette awaiting, and croissants and of course a wonderfully brewed pot of hot, coffee- it just doesn't get any better! ... what people say » - Historic building- absolutely beautiful, but that means it can be a bit difficult getting luggage up the stairs, a small price to pay for all that charm. This is our 2nd time staying here and we'll be back- we love this hotel. A total delight. be sure to add the breakfast. We love it here!!!
