Friendly owner with excellent English who made us feel welcome and helped us each day with our travel plans. It was one of the highlights of our stay to befriend Gilles and his friendly little dog, Cosette!
We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast each morning. Nice range of local food and it was a good opportunity to talk to other guests.

sometimes rainy weather we managed to have a good time with a marvelous
bike tour of the city, a visit to Villefranche and Beaulieu with lots of
walking to take in the incredible scenery, a visit to the medieval
village of Eze and a lovely, if wet, day visiting the Matisse, Chagall
and Beaux Arts museums. Our base for all this activity was the Hotel

Situated in the centre of Nice and within a couple of minutes walk of the main railway station, the hotel had a pretty Mediterranean courtyard garden. The rooms overlooked the garden and hence the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a relaxing atmosphere. The Promenade des Anglais is an easy 10 minute walk. Would stay there again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival at the hotel and all the way through our stay. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious and clean. Hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly staff, not luxurious but forthe price it was certainly great value. Location is superb, cafe'sand shops on the doorstep, 5 mins walk from the Promenade de Anglais,old town ten mins away. Didn't have any food - went to theBoulangerie across the road. Very friendly staff. All spoke good English. Overall a very
professionally run hotel.
One essential way to improve the overall package would be to supply customers with detailed directions from the airport, as the one way system was testing to say the least.
That said, we would definitely use the hotel again. really enjoyable stay. -
