Lovely location and pleasant walk into Nevers. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. a nice stroll along the river bank and an enjoyable evening meal. Country setting and excellent restaurant. friendly, helpful, very nice location, swimming pool. Beautiful setting and courteous staff. food. . It seemed to have had a coat of paint on bedroom walls. and was not smelling of too much house (hotel) mould this time. The best thing about it was the convenience of central France for our journey. all reviews »
Quiet location near the Loire river which has an excellent footpath.Sprawling and long walk to rooms with lots of stairs and doors! Wifi wasn't working, but they were working on it. The room was a little dirty. room full of flys. Had stayed there before and was not impressed with it. Rebooked it by mistake !! Considering it's so far out of town, it's a shame the restaurant was closed, after our 8 hour drive to it, we did not want to have to use the car to go out for our evening meal. Surely a rota for kitchen staff could be used ?? Walls of room thin, could hear other guests next door.
