The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, with efficient air conditioning. It was good having a kettle in the room and the breakfast was perfect for us - fruit juice, choice of cereals and a variety of breads/pastries. The hotel is near the tram and not far from the airport. We stayed two nights and liked having the (small) pool to cool down in. This is a very smart, new hotel, so there isn't much character about it, but it is extremely comfortable.
all reviews » The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and we even had a couch in the room, so there was really plenty of space. The bathroom was big, clean and we specially liked the shower! Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty, so we were not disappointed. Car parking might not be the cheapest, but it is safe and nice. The location is also great, very near shopping center with lots of restaurants and a tram station that had really good connections to the city center. Location was incredible, right opposite the Odysseum complex. It was literally only 80yds to the Nostrum Aquarium. Tram line into town was a 2min walk away. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Overall, its a lovely modern hotel that I would happily return to. Very helpful, caring staff, attention to detail excellent. Breakfast well presented , swift efficient service. Simple, good, clean and new. We couldn't open the window - it seemed to be permanently sealed - so felt a bit enclosed. Parking was very expensive at 15 Euros a day and sometimes the carpark gates didn't work. You can park on the road nearby, but it's not secure, of course. We didn't notice right away that we got a room for smokers, or at least that was how it felt like. But that could probably be changed, however in the end we didn't feel like moving. My wife thought that there should have been fresh fruit as part of the buffet breakfast. Its a small detail. The sound level on the tv system set to low. Unable to move the volume higher than 15 on the controls. Difficult to hear the speech in the movies, in particular. The security door latch not aligned, unable to use it for security. Nothing. Breakfast was adequate. Tad expensive. Lack of adequate signage to direct you by car to the hotel. This would have obviated the need for us to follow our sat nav's preferred route through the massive shopping centre car park!. Didn't see the need to charge 8 euro for parking!. Service at the Irish bar over the road and the meal at the American style diner in the shopping centre near the hotel. Do not park at the public parking place next to hotel! Our car got broken into, they broke the window. It is not located in central city if that is what you want. Breakfast was very poor. The mattress was hard. Don't understand why a Hotel located in a industrial/Shopping area charges for parking. Breakfast self service on a tray, convenient for the hotel but great dining experience but suppose was only a breakfast!. Nothing. N/c. N/A. The breakfast is poor but free. Parking is too expensive (15 € per day). On road parking for car was not safe - car was broken in to, which put us off wanting to go back to that area Difficult place to find. No restaurant, not that close to the city centre need to take a tram, which is not too far away. Plastic cups in the rooms and breakfast was pretty poor. very expensive parking and no restaurant. Anyway you have a Shopping Mall next to the hotel where you can find restaurants. Room was clean apart from under the bed where we found old grapes!. Far out of the city (but close to public transport) Minimal amenities in room (wine bottle opener etc). Very hard to find. This is a hotel which is very close to A9, so it is convenient for a stop. We arrived at midnight to find out that there was no parking in the hotel and what was offered to us was a public unsurveilled parking.
