the hotel was very good in a very good area a bit far from port and town but we enjoyed the walk about 10 mins or meby a little bit more. But when you see the other end of town walking home at night it was very safe. Marseille whatever people say about it not being its not that true as all citys are like that if you dont know where your going, so a;; im saying is please visit Marseille Le Pharo.

Smell of fried food in the restaurant in the evening, obviously there is a problem with aeration. The pool was out of commission. the room was very hot. Breakfast very expensive. Hotel too hot like a sauna , in the hall. Price of a glass of wine €7 and a bottle of ordinary water from the fridge in room €4 also their was a coffee but you had to pay €2.50 per shot in your room. High prices for mini bar.high prices for bar and mini bar drinks, coffee in room was not free!. Didn't see the point in having seperate toilet to bathroom, as there were only sinks in bathroom so you still had to use both rooms.Only mirror in bedroom outside of bathroom,was on back of wardrobe door,but lockerandbed were too close to wardrobe to open door fully.Espresso machine in room but charged everytime you use it-should be free coffee as in Irish hotels.Lots of pillows but uncomfy to sleep. Pool would benefit from an external shower. In room coffee should be clearly marked as chargeable. No sport accomodation.No sport accomodation. Very expensive bar, 10.00 GBP for a beer!!. Very pricy for drinks and food!!. Front Desk staff were impolite when asked about an issue with the room, and did not have a customer focussed attitude.No fitness room, the fluoresent colour lighting in hallways. I didn't like the attitude of the stuff from reception, they realy dosn't know to do the job well. The "do not disturb" sign wich was hanging out the door was not respected.... !!!.

From Marseille Provence airport located 25 km away: airport shuttle chargeable service from St charles Railway Station (8.50 Euros) or take a taxi (about 50 Euros).
