very helpful and friendly staff. the night porter was courteous, at 4.30 in the morning, well done!. Clean, pleasant and very friendly service. Doesn't look much from the outside, but the service was good and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.all reviews
A great clean place very near to Marseilles airport - perfect for early / late flights. Five min walk from town, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. The staff was excellent, pleasant and helpful. The room was simple, but clean.Ideal budget,family, airport stopover.air conditioning and comfy mattress. it was clean. Breakfast was available. Bar/coffee available at night.Bathroom was nice although the shower holder was broken. Convenience to Airport. Adequate, just.satelite tv. Better directions would have been helpful. We didn't pre-book breakfast and as a result there was very little food when we decided to have it - they didn't charge the full breakfast rate because of this. I wouldn't have the breakfast again as I think it would have been very basic even if we had pre-booked. Some furniture was in severe disrepair. The neighborhood was quite noisy (we like to sleep with open windows).lack of tea/coffee facilities - lack of lift with large suitcases getting to 3rd floor not easy. curtains did not close properly.there was not a restaurant in the hotel open during the summer. The town that the hotel is in is a bit rough. air-con not working; night-shift receptionist know no english at all. No evening dinner available.No english speaking staff. very expensive to get a taxi for the short trip from the airport - €20 for just a few km. we checked the price at the airport and that is what they said to expect. Noisy, Bed was very cheap with thin matress.We deliberately chose a budget hotel so were not expecting the highest standard of comfort or facilities. However we were surprised that the patio door did not close properly (slipped latch) and the blackout curtains were worn in places.Air conditioning did not work and the curtains were in a very poor state of repair. it was incredibly noisy around the hotel until at least 4 a.m.rooms were not king sized beds but king singles and connected by common doorway not bathroom. Beds were very small and uncomfortable. No extra pillows we all use 2 each. We arrived on a day of rest and no restaurants available. Hotel is 2.2kms from airport as the crow flies not walking distance. to drive is 5.7. location not handy at all, room seemed like student room, no comfort, thin walls, staff not very helpfull.
