  This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon. Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one tram stop away ... what people say » - an easy walk. It was also close to the large Perrache station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was however quiet at night. - The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.

  Very clean hotel close to city center, the metro is close to the hotel too. Till Belcour place is about 10 minutes. It is really 4 stars hotel. I think the hotel just after reparing. There is kitchen contents all needs for prepare breakfast or other meal, so you don't need pay over in restaurant, the supermarkets are close too. I can recommend it ... what people say » to people that looking for good hotel for good price. - Very good room arrangement for suiting my family 4 of us. There is a big bed composed with 2 single bed and one comfortable sofa bed. Two rooms are partially separated with high loof. Brand new walls in the rooms, combination of white and rouge, gave us relaxed feeling after a long driving. Wooden floor and large windows are enriching entire atmosphere.

  The hotel is excellent, the rooms were big, very clean, looked new and had a very nice bathroom (and even a decent size refrigerator). Our room had a flat-screen tv that was ok (maybe a bit small) but since we barely used it, it did not bother us. The hotel has free Wifi both in the room and in the lobby with speed that was more than adequate for ... what people say » our need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most (all?) of the staff spoke English and had good knowledge of the main sights. There was a Metr - The Lodge opened for business a few months ago. The layout and the available facilities are all well planned and thought through. Though not flashy, everything one needs are there and functional. The staffs are excellent, courteous and most helpful in every aspect. There are ample free parking on the street next to the Lodge. I will definitely recommend the lodge to anyone so does not want to pay for the extra pampering of a five star hotel and yet. Great value for money!

  Clean, quiet, friendly hotel. The rooms are well equipped and are ideal for people who are staying longer as the rooms are designed as a home from home. It even had a dishwasher! Free internet a big plus too. Transport connections are excellent (bus stop and bike hire on your doorstep). The hotel is very close to Tete d'or Churchill PArk but it takes around 40 minutes to reach to the city by walk. We really love the room design (stayed in a superior room).
