The location of the hotel is just perfect - right in the city center, near the principal square and main streets. Our room was quite small but cosy. The hotel is in an old biulding that has the charm and spital stairs! We had two heavy bags, but the receptionist Mehdi was really helpful and helped us to get them right to our room and gave some useful advice about the city! I recommend this hotel to other travellers who want to enjoy Lyon.
all reviews » Staff are really helpful, though it does not have a life, he help us to pick the luggage upstairs upon our asking. Breakfast is excellent under such room cost. the location also close to the street with many restaurant in Lyon. We have a good night there. The hotel is located close to main streets in Lyon, close to shops and restaurants, you can get from McDonald up to great Coffee shops. It is very close to the metro station and you can walk from there to the main touristic points in the city. Within walking distance to good shops and to my business venue. Had fast, free wifi connection in my room. Quiet warm comfortable bedroom with good shower and TV facilities. Perfect location, right in the center of Lyon. Close to everything. You get what you pay for - so rooms were very cramped and dark and tiny bathroom with no ventilation. Also got bitten both nights by lots of mosquitos. A liitle tweak of the bathroom ventilation would be nice.... if it doesn't increase the cost of living there. Very shabby, needs just a coat of paint!! Price of room should include the b'fast. I tried to call to let them know I would be late but there was no answer on reception. smell in the room, size of the bathroom. Not very clean.Room need to be a little fixed up. Gas failure meant no heating or hot water for entire stay in winter. Room was a bit dated Not many sockets Small bathroom. This is certainly the seediest, poorest value for money I have had the misfortune to book. I could go on for pages but just can't be bothered as the place doesn't warrant the effort.
