Everything was excellent. Was close to many areas of the city and had good restaurants close by.I like the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the bathroom. the staff were very helpful and welcoming.Efficient no fuss hotel. Location was great. Although it was just outside main centre it was within easy walking distance and enabled us to explore other parts of Lille such as the Rue de Gambetta Sunday market and shops. It was extremely busy because of the Xmas market and it was nice to be staying a little bit away from the bustle.all reviews »

We wanted a family room for two parents and two children (11 and 2) so we reserved a triple room, expecting a room with 3 beds. We found it was no more than a double, so when the 3rd bed + cot were installed, there was no room to move. 3. Fittings were old and in need of replacement/modernisation.Not enough toiletries provided in bathroom. Decorations a bit faded - could do with refurbishment. Bathroom needs updating.the bathroom was not in a very good state, hot water ran out for a couple of hours in the morning. being overcharged in the bar!!!. Bathroom a little small and could do with a little attention. I feel the rooms could do with redecorating. The bathrooms needed refurbishing.The location, the area was actually full of beggars and we were approached approx 20 times in 36hrs. Because of this we left the hotel and the area after only 2 nights, we were booked in for 4!. Price/quality of the dinner was not up to standard and the diningroom not as pleassant as we would like to see it e.g. TV on and noisy.Bathroom needs refurbishing. General decor and some fixtures and fittings needs updating. Paking facilities. room looked quite shabby, breakfast was poor. The rooms were "tired" ie not up to the usual HI standard.
