Apartments are modern, spacious (for France!) and clean. Smallish 130cm deep swimming pool (over 10 people made it very crowded) good steam room and small sauna, all clean. Attractive reception area; well stocked and attractive bar. Breakfast and dinner adequate for a couple of meals but very limited menu and some dishes not very good. Small but well thought out wine list. Access to piste excellent: truly ski door to door for all but complete beginners. Well priced compared with other residence.
all reviews » The Hotel is very modern (built in 2012?) but blends nicely with the surroundings. Our room was very nicely furnished, complete with full and modern kitchen units and utensils ...including an induction cooker and a dishwasher. It was a very welcome change from old ski lodges where the kitchen utensils are easily showing their age. Skiing out of and into the Hotel ski room was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and never looked for tips. Lovely,new,clean apartment. More spacious than expected. Immaculate bathroom & kitchen. Very comfy bed. Ski in ski out. Teenagers loved the spa! Short walk and lift to centre of village of Les Bruyeres which is quiet and has .enough nice restaurants. Good supermarket and patisserie. Generally I like the room (junior suit), it was big and very comfortable to stay with children, also I like the location of the hotel, especially that it is not in the les menuires center. Everything was great. Ski in ski out. Staff was very accomodating and friendly...really went out of their way to provide excellent service, especially florentine. La piste de ski directement en sortant du ski room. Annette and staff very friendly and helpful location excellent for Ski/snowboard. Restaurant could be so much better than it is! My lasagne was truly dreadful although my husband`s grilled gambas were fine. Walk via two lifts and five flights of stairs to other restaurants is a bit of a bore although only 10 mins. Would be i9mpossible with a push chair/small children. Ski room is very poorly designed with everyone tripping over each other at peak times. No heated boot racks in lockers so take boots up to your apartment to avoid cold wet boots the next day!. I have only two minor gripes...the breakfast in the Hotel was steep at 18 Euros per person; the pool area was a little too small for the number of guests!. All windows have system of micro ventilation, and it was cold several nights. Spa facilities were OK but not fantastic, and sauna was not always working Breakfast was very expensive - not that special for the price. Difficult to find at night with the sign blocked by a car. No hooks whatsoever in the apartment - difficult to keep things tidy. Especially if 6 of you. Limited menu in the restaurant. Too expensive, outrageous... The kitchen set at 60€. pillows too soft single beds very narrow no hooks anywhere in the room. paying extra for kitchen equipment no hooks for hanging ski jackets. no wifi available in rooms even though it said there was and no kitchen cloths, washing up liquid items, there was a kitchen with crockery and utensils, no pans and nothing to clean anything with. My friends room was the same but had no plates!. La circulation entre le spa, les chambres, le ski room, le lobby de l'hotel. Des gens en peignoir et en chaussons doivent traverser l'entree ou les gens arrivent avec leurs skis. Nous avions une suite avec un salon et une chambre, mais pas de canape dans le salon, seulement des chaises. Rather expensive for food and drink but guess they all are here !!!! €60 a night for dishes and pans for the apartment was too much.
