  The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river.   We stayed here for our 8th anniversary and first trip to Provence. We have traveled quite a bit around Europe and there were a couple of things we really enjoyed about this hotel. (We stayed in one of the bungalows, not the main house.) The entire estate was well cared-for and very clean. The room was a nice size with a comfortable full-sized bed... what people say » , not two beds jammed together. The bathroom was a full-sized bathroom. We even had an air-conditioning unit that was not loud and worked quite well - Charming English speaking host. Excellent food. Very clean and recently decorated villa. Car parking good, with electric gates closed at night. Two miles from Avignon centre. There is a very large free car park that is manned, with a free shuttle bus that takes you into the centre of Avignon. one-and-a-half miles from the hotel.
