Clean, comfortable and convenient. Great location with free shuttle bus to the Mont every 10 min stopping just opposite. Quiet and good value. We had a room for 4 with 2 twin beds on an upper level and w dbl on ground. Nice clean bathroom. Great formula. The location's perfect, very close to the 'passeur' service to MSM and the bus stop. A friendly front desk gave us valuable information about the village and transportation. we had a clean and comfortable room for family.
all reviews » Considering the rate, overall I'm satisfied with the hotel (stayed in a quadruple room). Not spacious, but beds and the bathroom are clean enough. Good choice for budget sightseeing trip. The location, very close to Mt St Michele, right in front of the bus stop that takes you to Mt St Michele and the local supermarket Has family rooms that accept families with two children. Bedrooms have mezzanine level for children - very popular with our 4-year old grandson! Staff are friendly and lent us an adaptor. WIFI in rooms is a real plus. It's probably the cheapest hotel around the area! The room is basic but comfortable with a walkable distance to the Mont St Michel!. The convenience to Mont St Michel. The hotel is close to the shuttle bus which runs quite often and lasts until 1 am the second day. This hotel is also close to the dam bridge where you can have good view of Mont St. Michel. The thing we can utilize hotel's parking is very helpful to do sightseeing in Mont-saint-Michel. The reason is because public parking around there is expensive. This hotel is located out of Mont-saint-Michel, but it was no problem thanks to a lot of shuttle buses to Mont-saint-Michel, available free of charge. The room is just basic and old. If you plan to visit Mont st Michel, it is a good location as it is located within restricted area which is easy to visit there. Shuttle bus and supermarket is opposite to the hotel. Front desk closed after 10 and door locked so if you arrived late you would not be able to check in. Unfortunately, the day we stayed was really hot, therefore the heat in the daytime remains until midnight without air conditioning, which left us hard to sleep. But it's not blamed that there is no air conditionning because it's not necessary most part of a year. No air condition in the room, specially for the room on the atic, which is hot at night . . . and you can not open windows due to the mosquitos. stairs to mezzanine are steep. The hotel did not inform us before hand that we needed a passcode to pass by a gate in order to enter onto the street where the hotel was located and when we got there we did not have a working cell phone to call the hotel to give us a password. The booking also said that there was wifi, but there was not. I arrived at the hotel at around 1 pm from Paris. However I had to wait till 2 pm because the staff need to take the rest. good value for money. Somewhat noisy if you leave the window open. We suggest all guests phone the hotel for the security code before they arrive at the barrier. Not a problem, I knew the issue and I called the hotel the day before, however the ways to get the code to access the reserved parking lot should be more advertised in the booking page. The hotel was located in admission restriction area, so that like pin-code was necessary to enter into the area. I didn't know the rule in advance, therefore I got bewildered slightly. The room is small and does not have tea making facilities which is bad. The most trouble thing is that we need access code to come to this restricted hotel area. We can only get the code 24 hrs before which is so inconvence. That is the first day we arrive France so we do not have Internet access and get the code. We need to walk to the hotel from the gate and ask for code. there was a horrible smell in the bathroom. The stairs to the loft were very steep. Need to have access code to enter the area. Booked two rooms, have two cars, got one access code from Hotel, the other car was blocked by guard who doesn't speak English. Hotel should provide two access code. wifi connection in room can only allow one device to access at one time. Internet rationing! Really! Just too cheap on the little stuff. Aggravate the customer to save 2 euros kind of thing. Very loud, you could hear everything including people moving luggage up the stairs at 6am. Staff were not overly friendly and even though there were lots of vacancies, when we asked to check out at noon instead of eleven we were coldly and bluntly told no. It was cold even though the radiator works. The hotel was so hot, there was no air in the room. The facilities are very poor and I would not recommend this hotel to families in particular.
