Value for money and by the famous architecture. Quick and easy book in. Friendly staff who spoke some English. The lift design with a mock-up shower was a good talking point. Would be fun to develop it.A nice and comfortable hotel with a cute elevator. The room we got was with a view to the town square with a great show every evening. value for money (and interesting lift). Funky lift was fun, but the door was a bit of a man trap, if another floor called the lift the inner doors open and close without a chance to open the outer door. The noise from Le Vulcan - we stayed on a Saturday evening and did not expect the noise which lasted for a considerable time through the night. Very small room. The room faced onto the the Niemeyer Square and the noise through the night (Friday/Saturday) was constant. Difficult to shut out even with the windows closed.Breakfast room is a bit small. The breakfast is not satisfactory at all. The restaurant is very small, and there are only few dishes to choose from. This should be improved, or, more clearly be stated in the hotel description.

Attend an evening of theater at the Best Western Art Hotel the weekend of 10 and 11 July. La Compagnie La Soute for a performance of their play, “Ne Pas Déranger”. For 8 years now, many local artists have come to La Havre to share with us their love of the stage for the towns wonderful street theatre festival.
Also, there are cultural events throughout the year including painting, photography exhibitions and live concerts.
