We stayed at Boisairault on Sunday night, and we were the only guests. The owners, Jean-Pierre and Beatrice are very nice hosts, and shared with us their enthusiasm about their property. We had a superior room in the main building, extremely spacious, with a modern decoration and a superb, roomy, state-of-the-art bathroom. Just beware of the wooden beams, if you are tall... all reviews » Everything about Manoir de Boisairault was perfect. The owners, Béatrice and Jean-Pierre, are probably the nicest people I've ever met. The 18th century mansion is incredibly beautiful. We had the family suite and the oldest part of the house all to ourselves. The kids' room with a bed on the attic is amazing for children and for everybody with a kid's heart. Our second stay at Manoir de Boisairault was even better than the first! Highlights included tea in the garden on arrival, a simple but delicious evening meal, freshly cooked that night, with exquisite attention to detail, served with lovely local wines. Jean-Pierre & Beatrice are consummate hosts & excellent company. The tour of the cave system under the Manoir, with Jean-Pierre as our guide was also unforgettable. We will most definitely be going back. This was the best place we stayed during our holiday in the Loire. Jean-Pierre and Beatrice were excellent hosts and always had time for us even when they had friends round. The room was lovely and was set in a small annex attached to the main house. We were lucky enough to have breakfast in the garden which was excellent and had a lot of choice. We will miss the two dogs who greeted us every time we arrived back.
