  The owner could not have been more helpful (I gather she and her husband have taken over the hotel in relatively recent times) and they are obviously working hard to update and improve rooms and facilities etc. An excellent evening meal and good breakfast set me up for a day out on the WW1 battlefield of Le Cateau, for which this hotel is an ideal... what people say » base. - The staff were most pleasant and courteous, we also ate in the restraunt which was equally good, we were a party of 3 touring the WW1 Battlefields and found the Hotel well sited for all of this plus quite near the Mattise Museum for Art Lovers. Perrine Hostess speaks good English too!
