  Very efficient, helpful, friendly staff. The hotel has been recently renovated with beautiful new fittings. Good food served at breakfast. Great location. - Just a great base for Paris. The Metro is just outside the door. Great Hotel and Saint Germain is the place to be. Would use this hotel again.

I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was great (besides who needs a large room when you're in Paris?) I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

  This is not a traditional hotel, but rather an apartment-style hotel with only four or five suites, each with a small kitchenette. Our suite was the smallest – the “studio” next to the office on the second floor (they didn’t have a standard reception desk), but it was exactly as lovely as shown on the website. It's in a good residential neighborhood, with plenty of family restaurants in the area, at a slightly better price and away from the touristy area. Also fantastic bookstores and good shopping, a stones throw from the Jardin de Luxembourg. The price is slightly lower because you have to walk an extra two blocks to get to the middle of the action. Honestly, one of the better secrets for a good Paris stay.
