The service of staff was absolutely brilliant, extremely polite and friendly! A member of staff actually waited up for us especially until gone midnight for us to check in on the first night (we couldn't get there until late, and he was completely happy to wait up for us). The facilities were very clean and comfortable with a large secure car park. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the hotel, and although there isn't a restaurant at the hotel, the hotel is less 4 minutes from a range of res.
all reviews » We arrived at Dunkirk with the last ferry, at 1am. We had received directions by phone on how to get into the car park and the building after the normal check-in time. The hotel was very easy to find, just off the motorway at exit 57, 25 minutes from the port max. It was quiet, clean, and an excellent no-frills option. I deal for an overnight stay after or before a ferry. Well located for the Dunkirk ferry and A16/E40, with good parking. The hotel is in a modern (new?) building and kept very clean. Good breakfast (extra charge, but good value at €6.50pp). The staff were friendly. Although the reception was shut at night, the hotel made arrangements for us to arrive late and get into our room. Excellent location, easy to find, close to the ferries and a Centre Commercial for fuel, shopping and restaurants. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Best of all were the staff: cheerful, most helpful and polite. I'll definitely stay again and I warmly recommend this hotel. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Personal was very, very friendly. Close to the ferry. The room was immaculate, shower very good. Beds are great. Breakfast was nice. For this money you can't get any better. Safe parking. With the restaurant opening soon it only gets better. Close to the ferry's nice clean hotel . although close to the motorway we did not see it on our first pass. Then spent ages trying to find it. Got lost in town one way system My advice would be get it up on google maps so you know what to look for. New and very clean hotel, we stayed there 1 week and they changed the towels every day ... the staff is very friendly and helpful.... The parking is private and closed in the night...... The best place we have stayed at on way to/from ferry at Dunkirk which we've done for 14 years. ideal for a overnight stop before a ferry,staff helpful, its a new motel so clean and fresh,did what we wanted a bed for the night.The way in is shared with a ibis on the main road. There was a problem with our toilet, but the owner could not apologise enough and gave us our room for free and did not charge for breakfast. Excellent friendly staff. Actually everything. The furnishings are fairly basic, but as you might expect for the price, and everything was clean and in good working order. Nothing. Does not look like hotel from the out side easy to miss Or maybe that's just me. could do with a drinks machine as no tea and coffee making is in rooms. Thinking hard the only thing that comes to mind: no complimentary shampoo in the bathroom, but that is a bit nitpicking, especially considering the price. 2nd pillow. Kettle facilities. My parents rooms STANK of smoke yet this is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. If we hadn't arrived so late and been so tired we'd have definately asked for an alternative room but so as not to cause a fuss as it was only one night they decided it would be ok. However, by the morning it had made all their clothes smell too - very disappointing :-(. The surrounding area wasn't the most picturesque and was a little noisy at night (but we did open the window, so we wouldn't have heard anything if it was closed). No coffee in the room. nothing. It would be nice if you had a hair dryer and a kettle for preparing tea or coffee in every room. The incontinence sheet on the bed which ruined my nights sleep. On first arrival bit like unfinished but inside was lovely. No bar or restaraunt facilities in the evening. No tea making facility or any evening food . However we are informed that this service will be added at a laterI date. Area a bit off putting. Position was a little out of the way, rooms were smallish. Smell from the bathroom like in some other French hotels. Room could have more chairs. - staff refused to speak english nd only was talking french. The only thing we found a bit inconvenient was we could have done with a couple of coat pegs for our outdoor coats and a few more coat hangers in the wardrobe. For the price could not dislike anything. The pillows weren't good. They were still renovating the restaurant, so breakfast was very limited. Nothing really. No tea/coffee in rooms/ or food available/ restaurant. Restaurant is closed. Nothing. No facilities in room for making drinks. nothing to dislike. Bed was a little hard. there was no air conditioning as it was a very hot time. A little warm at night. the entrance/exit is dangerous, just after a roundabout where cars speed.
