We arrived to the Maison late at night and were welcomed by the most
friendly and lovely French couple who run the hotel. We only stayed for

Jeanne and Gerard were so hospitable to us. we were having a one night stop off after the tour de France - en route to London. we had a picnic on their terrace over looking the beach - i mean the beautiful beach. stunning views. such lovely people and a lovely stop over. we learned a lot of history from Gerard. Their home is a wonderful bed and breakfast.

simple facilities, really charming place. High ceilings, big comfy beds, clean room & bathroom, yummy breakfast. Super. I took my 7 yr old daughter for an educational trip, it was great to be somewhere with such character, a great experience & very close to restaurants etc.. -

There were plenty of good quality and value for money restaurants 5 inutes walk from the hotel. An ideal hotel for our overnight before catching the Eurotunnel back home.

We have stayed in many places over the years in and around Boulogne, and La Belle Haute was by far the best. A large, warm, comfortable room, ditto bed, shower. Faultless wifi, great breakfast - fresh o.j., local free-range eggs, good bread and croissants (not thawed/microwaved), cheese, cake (home-made), French toast etc. - such care and thoughtfulness shown by our hostess. Set in the old town with restaurants close by - l'ilot vert was excellent. Easy parking in December.

Welcoming hosts and calm location. We phoned to explain we had had a puncture on the motorway and would not arrive until late. This is a beautiful house, with several themed suites. It has been most tastefully done. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, with every facility. The breakfast - with homemade conserves - was excellent.
