  We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was a really quiet location with a comfortable bed.   The hotel is well-situated, and typical of an older french hotel. Although it looks a little tired in places, it is very clean, the rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel also benefits from having a bar and restaurant, although we only had breakfast, which was very good. The room that we had was spacious, clean and we appreciated the double glazing. The staff were amazing and I would like to congratulate them on being the most helpful, professional and pleasant people that we have dealt with. For example they went out of their way to assist us when our Somme Tour operator didn't arrive at the designated time.
