PRICE !
The location of the Hotel is superb, their rate for staying is very fare for the establishment, for the money you should not really expect much more than somewhere to lay your head. The place is small, quaint, and slightly eccentric, but these all add to the charm in a sort of way. Patrik the main man, in fact barman, receptionist, cleaner, concierge, and probable owner, is a treat to meet. He did all he could to make our short stay as good as possible and has a fun sense of humour. In . all reviews »
The location was superb, within walking distance of all the amenities. Dinan is a 'little' gem and well worth a visit. Room was clean and comfortable with en-suite facilities. Very welcoming staff and advised us of an excellent place to eat.

Nothing to prevent a return trip, but points to be aware of :-
It is in a medieval town building, the stairs are compact and quite steep, can be awkward for the mobility impaired, or those travelling with large luggage.
Room six has fixtures and fitting that are best described as fittings. It also has a picture with a fear of heights !.
Not what we 'didn't like' but rather a little unusual. Didn't really feel like a hotel, rather a bar with rooms above. Not a set up we were use to but served our purpose as a stopover. Basic accommodation - no frills and good value.
I have zero complaints. Wouldn't recommend if you have lots of heavy
luggage and can't carry it up the narrow staircase.
There was supposed to be a breakfast available but it wasn't when I was there. The hotel and the bedding could have been a bit cleaner.
Bed needed a new box spring.
We were OK being sprightly for oldies, and travelling light, but beware the rooms are up a narrow and quite steep staircase with no lift. Again, we were not too concerned about this, but no breakfast is offered.
