Hotel was spotless and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant was not cheap but prix fixe was very good value for money. Well situated for old Dijon and very pleasant courtyard garden. Very quiet. Stay here if you want that authentic feeling of old Dijon. The restaurant is especially worth a long, 4 or 5 course evening. Very polite, friendly staff. Parking is good too.

Breakfast was too expensive at 12 euros. Limited choice, and the scrambled egg was cold. Small rooms, not very good beds. large difference in price between rooms up front (noisy Rue Saint Anne) and rooms at the back.No differentiation between smoking and non smoking.First room we entered had stale smoke odour.Next room toilet was partly broken.Vacuum cleaning the carpet would not be a luxury. The room was cramped and did not meet the typical standard one would expect from a 3 star hotel. The price should be lowered. On the web site it says that parking was free. Once we got there we were told that the parking was full and we would have to stay in a public parking area and pay.The room was far from what I anticipated a 'superior' room to be. It was cramped and dated with a small double bed. Glad I was staying for only one night. Needs to be modernised. The room was too hot, but when we asked for the air-conditioning to be switched on we were told by the receptionist that it wasn't necessary. The car park was outside, small and difficult to get into (narrow entrance). The hotel was supposed to be in a quiet location, but was opposite a city car park and therefore there was a lot more traffic noise than we had anticipated. Small room (called Superior); outdated bathroom; stained lavatory. Rooms small, aircon not working in first room on offer.Staff expected us to shift luggage to replacement room without any help. Second room even smaller with noisy aircon. Bathroom very tiny and old- fashioned. Restaurant closed, breakfast room underground and very hot. Breakfast not too good. Hotel facilities seem good but guests don't get to use them! Credit card security awareness appalling. room was v. small and supposed to be a 'premium' room, for which I paid a premium amount! Did not equate to the write up that implied this was a high qulaity boutique hotel, eg Mini bar had not been stocked, room service poor and breakfast 'standard'. Overall impression was that this was a hotel playing off location and adjoining restaurant brand v. its own quality.
