Very Friendly and helpful staff, good location (minutes from centre) comfortable rooms and very reasonably priced. Could n't ask for anything more for a short break. We have stayed at the hotel on many occasions and really like the people there, the location and it suitsw our needs perfectly. Excellent size and comfortable family room.Excellent breakfast,all clean,new bathroom,wifi.Much more than 2 star rating.

But it was certainly worth the extra money. Check in time, which staff were not happy to let us check in earlier.From a womans point of view it would have been nice to have had a mirrorover the desk instead of such a large tv in the bedroom. Not really, although you could hear talking and movement from the room above, so sound proofing could be improved.The bed was uncomfortably firm. Unfortunately there were smells (tobacco and drains) in the two rooms we were shown. No shower. there was a shower head but nowhere to fix it. Confusing layout of room numbers, minibar needs scotch. The hotel was adequate for a 2 night stop over.
