A very nice home in a beautiful village near Paris. A very cheap price. Ideal distance from CDG airport and from Chantilly castle and park (***), a must. So calm that I could hear the silence , if you remember the meaning. A good breakfast "as you like". Just ask. There are more: at only 1 km you'll find the Comellles , a little lake inside a forest and hiking around it by a good weather can be a very pleasant day. We stayed here on our last night before returning home. The location is very convenient to CDG airport. The hosts speak very little English but we were able to communicate with little problem. The accomodations are superb, modern and clean. The breakfast was the best we had in France. We will be back! Also found a lovely little bistro for our last dinner just a short drive down the road next to a lovely lake by the Chateau de la Reine Blanche.
Absolutely everything! I don't understand why this wonderful place
only has a 9 out of 10. It's a complete 10 out of 10. Francoise is a
wonderful hostess, and she served us a great breakfast. We fell in love
with her little dog too. After decades of travel in France, we
haven't found any place better than Les Rainettes. We are 2 Canadian
couples travelling for 3 weeks, and all agreed this little place felt
like home!!.
We stayed here the first two days of our six week trip and loved it so much, we returned for our last two days before flying back home. Everything was excellent, it was wonderful to be treated by our hostess as friends rather than just clients. The room and breakfast were superb and the access to a small but well-equipped kitchen a bonus.
Intimate small family run gite. Bedroom warm and cosy. Owner could not do enough to please and no shortage of choice for breakfast. Handy for a lot of woodland and chateau's also easy to get train into Paris, Gare du Nord.Limited understanding of English but not a real problem. Ideal weekend break location or route stopover.
We stayed here on the night before our flight from CDG Airport. Well located for short drive to Airport in the morning. Room and facilites excellent. The breakfast was very good and the owner very keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Wish we could stay a few days to enjoy the area. Highly recommend to other travellers.
The premises were tastefully decorated, the breakfasts more than generous. Everything was excellent, the perfect place to stay for a couple of days before flying out or to wind down in, when first arriving in France. A little hard to find on the GPS but the locals were very friendly and helpful with directions.
Very nice room (upper) with use of kitchen area. Rooms (2) are in a separate small house. Private setting but convenient to train station (Paris-20 minute ride!) . Lovely hostess, extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely park / lake just down the road. Parking and wi-fi free.
Owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Be sure to reserve parking if needed. Our ground floor room made it easy for us to unload our car completely to repack for our return flight.

Madame was kindness itself welcoming us with cake and cider. The room was small but very comfortable and attractive. A very generous breakfast. Spotlessly clean with a good bed; excellent shower and secure parking.

Warm , helpful welcome from Francoise. A small town with a place to buy wine, bakery and charcuterie . Close to CDG and not far from A 1. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable.
Francoise is a real gem, she is like your Mom wanting to make you as comfortable as possible. Delightful, quiet, little village that is only 30 minutes from CDG airport.

The road on which Les Rainettes is located apparently has two or three names. If you can't find the road name as shown in Booking on your GPS, look for 2 route des Etangs de la Reine Blanche.

Nothing really. I was in the downstairs bedroom and I could hear people moving about in the upstairs bedroom but don't let this put you off!
You will need a car to get there or it is about a 2 kilometre walk downhill from the station which is not a problem until you have to get back there.

going unlike us!.
