The hotel is just next to the slopes and for the price it was excellent value! Good parking possibilities also (28 euro for two nights in an indoor parking below the hotel). Hotel was fine and well located. proximity of hotel to ski slopes, ski lockers, breakfast buffet. Ski-in ski out, room was comfortable. Two things were repaired quickly:1) mains socket 2) sink was blocked.all reviews »
The sauna was 20 euro per person which I find strangely expensive, also note that you are on the far end of Les Trois Vallees, so it takes some time to get to e.g. Val Thorens (not possible if there is too much wind). The booking.com system gave a nightly tariff of 120 Euro per room. This was a seasonal discounted rate. When I arrived at the hotel, the booking the hotel had received from booking.com was for the non-discounted rate. I had some difficulty convincing the hotel that this was a failure in communication between booking.com and the hotel, and that I was not liable for the full rate.Hotel rooms are tired and in need of a refurbishment, bathroom in particular is outdated. Bed was very uncomfortable, we ended up taking the mattress off and sleeping on the floor!. All the staff were untrained and rude. They did not notice were thereand made no effort whatsoever to create rapport. As a result we spentover £300 eating away from the hotel- the hotel lost this money as itwas spent at another, far better hotel, and we will be going back thereinstead. When you run a hotel the staff have to be polite and theeffort that they make is the biggest single factor when it comes toreturn business.
