It's location - right near the mountains but also near the town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful & the receptionist was prepared for us arriving with 3 chlidren - they'd arranged for us to have a large sofa bed for the children to share (although we swopped beds as there was a king-size bed in the room already). The pizzeria attached to the hotel was lovely - huge pizzas! My children & I shared 2 pizzas, but we could've had 1 between us as they were so large! My hubby .

The hotel is located in the countryside on edge of Cluses and within easy access of the town and mountains. There are good views from the hotel rooms an a large car park. Some of the speed bumps on the road near the hotel are high. Our pet dog was made very welcome and although the restaurant was closed on a Sunday staff were helpful with suggestions. Best night's sleep as beds were so comfortable. Great pizzeria attached to hotel. Staff very friendly. Only negative point was that the hallway had a very strong smell of air freshener. Arrived late but girl on reception arrived within a few minutes of calling. Very welcoming and created great impression. The room had good facilities and the restaurant provided good food and good value. Free wi-fi. The restaurant was really good, bistro-style, French/Italian cuisine. Good wine. Friendly english speaking staff. Comfortable room. Free WI FI. Quiet location. Air conditioning would have been good, but we left the door to the balcony open all night, so it was bearable. Also, a stronger wi-fi connection - we really struggled with that. Otherwise, nothing!. The breakfast was overpriced and inadequate. 10 people were in the dining room and food was not replenished when items ran out. The breakfast is not worth the additional charge of €6.00 per person. Nothing we disliked but rooms were a little old fashioned (toilet separate to bathroom). The scent of old age, offset by the small of cheap air-freshener. No proper shower, just a bath with shower-hose tap. There was no shower, other than a hand-held shower head in the bath. Bathroom was clean but needs upgrading. No tea and coffee maaking facities in room Mould in bathroom General wear and tear of room. Hotel in need of upgrade. No air conditioning. Out of town. Breakfast very expensive at €11 and not very good.
