  The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall... what people say » this is a great hotel in the perfect location at a good price. I cannot fault aragon. - The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.
