  It was a tranquil restful place to stay. A lovely room in neutrals with excellent bathroom made us feel very relaxed. The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful.   The welcome; the "orangerie" room, as My Wife had recently had a hip operation and was still using sticks; the delicious meals and service; the gardens surrounded by old trees. The best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time - and we travel quite a lot! - Magnificent place to stay. Very kind personnel and great delicious food.
