What we liked best: the people are fantastic, very accomodating, want to be sure your stay is superb. Gorgeous property in great location, very central. Wine cave on sight, can set up personal tasting. Regarding the room: clean, lots of space, feel at home. Breakfast wonderful: espresso, chocolate for kids, homemade jams, cheeses, fresh breads, juice. Could not have asked for better. Relaxing & enjoyable week in Beaune. Would definately return. Can't imagine staying anywhere else.
all reviews » This accommodation is very special. The most beautiful we have stayed in. The rooms are very large and everything is tasteful and of good quality. It is right in the centre of town and yet so quiet. The wine tasting is a must. We would return to Beaune just to stay in this lovely place. We had a beautiful loft. The location is perfect, in the old town but on a very quiet street. The room is very well decorated with modern convenience (rain shower in the bathroom). We will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Beaune again. Yolanda is a wonderful hostess. Everything in this place was so perfect! The lady who welcomed us was very helpful and nice, she gave us good advices for good restaurants and made our stay so confortable! It was at home feeling! The place is so romantic and very well placed to visit Beaune. Gracious hosts, extremely helpful, beautifully decorated, spacious, quiet neighborhood, yet near to everything in town & the vineyards. Charlie provided very informative & fun wine tasting in his cellars. A must place to visit for a wonderful vacation. This is not a hotel, this is a great guest house. The house, the room, the breakfast were fantastic and Madame Fatien does everything to make your stay unforgettable. You must try the wine tasting with M. Fatien jr. The room and patio are beautiful and tranquil in the heart of Beaune. - very nice host - very (!) quiet and calm but very close to the center of Beaune - only few big rooms full of ambiance - nice bathroom - very good petit déjeuner (breakfast): quality instead of a variety of different things. Personalized and caring reception. Breakfast is excellent, with genuinely fresh products. The rooms are decorated to perfection, with modern comfort blending into the old stones. A great stay!. Location is great, Yolande (houskeeper) is very friendly and helpful, the room spacious and very nice. There are only 4 rooms overlooking a beatiful courtyard. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was great, the location was excellent, the room was extra comfortable and clean. I give 10 out of 10 to Chez Les Fatien. It was one of our greatest stays in France. Poor capacity and regularity of wifi coverage. there is not a boiler and - despite the very large room - not a minibar or a small fridge. they did not welcome us with a bottle of wine. which is strange for Burgundy. Internet connection was unreliable.
