Easy to find, excellent parking facilities (through the gate = also hotel entrance !). Friendly staff. Nice renovated room (number 50, with bath and separate toilet). Buffet breakfast value for money. To the left the Beaune Tourist Office around the corner (tip: book a winetour through the vineyards for 2/2,5 hours...recommended !). all reviews » Hotel is well situated close to centre of Beaune which is a very picturesque place with plenty of history and decent shopping. The hotel has secure parking and is within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. Bedrooms upgraded and really good. Breakfasts also upgraded and really delicious - and they have kept the coffee and hot milk in jugs so you can have just what you want! Staff very welcoming and friendly, plus efficient. The room was excellent and the bed comfortable. The shower was very good and the bathroom modern snd spotless! It was within easywalking distance of lovely old town. The staff were helpful and friendly. The father & son staff at the front desk are the friendliest and kindest people one could hope for. Also the hotel is perfectly located, close to everything that should not be missed in Beaune. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Rooms somewhat basic but clean and air conditioned so no criticisms. We had the last room. It was numbered '39B'. It was of a reasonable size but the window overlooked a fire escape so could not be opened. No complaints!. Nothing much. Noise can be a slight issue if you have a room which faces the road. Beaune was great, and a lot more lively than I anticipated, but the only downside was that it was a Friday night and some people were still roaming the streets singing etc at 4am!. Nothing to dislike. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated. I would have liked rooms and corridors with more character and an old feel like the facade of the hotel. breakfast was a bit of disappointment. we were in the main or old building and the walls are very thin ,recomend ear plugs. We would have liked a chest of drawers or other options to unpack our bags more fully. What the hotel personnel called "HOT" water for a bath was only luke warm....they were not be convinced otherwise. We would have preferrred not to be overlooking the street as it was very noisy at night....groups of loud yahoos shouting till 3 am and traffic noise precluded opening windows for fresh air. Nothing?.
