We booked this hotel based on price for 4 adults (2 couples) and chose the 6-person suite. I think we were given the 8 person suite, which can actually sleep 12. This apartment was huge and very well updated. At first, when pulling up (after some difficulty finding it on the vehicle's nav), we second-guessed whether we made the right choice, but then the owner ran out to greet us and walked us into the apartment. all reviews » Very rustic cool setting, with nicely remodeled rooms. Nice mini kitchen, and modern bathroom. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Great location to visit both Paris and Versailles, if you have a car. We drove into Paris, and pretty easily found parking near all the main attractions. This hotel is probably half the price of those in Paris. We really enjoyed it. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly even though we arrived late. We had plenty of space in the room for the 4 of us. The room was bright and clean. It would have been nice to stay in longer than 1 night. Very convenient to Versailles. Great to have parking on sight. Very nice appartments in lovely surroundings. Both parents and kids enjoyed it. It is 10 minutes drive from Versailles castle and park. The owner gave us valuable advise on how to visit Versaille and avoid the queues. I'd highly recommend for a couple of days to visit Versailles . The room was a nice design, and the setting was traditional french farm - a little muddy, but then it was very wet and cold when we stayed. The owner appears to be renovating the properties, so things were very new and clean. Journey times to Versailles and Paris were good. There were also Supermarkets close buy for self catering, with a reasonable kitchen with plenty of utensils. The free wifi didn't seem to reach our room, but it was noted in the information on letsbookhotel.com, so it wasn't a complete surprise. But I also didn't get data service on my phone either unless I walked near the car parking. The only other negative was the toilet (we called it the golden throne due to the golden seat) was too high for those shorter than 5'5". The other toilet (the silver throne) was just fine. Otherwise, I can't think of much to complain about. It is in the country, with farms and stables nearby, so when we were there we could smell something like cat or maybe manure. Not to strong, but if one is sensitive to smells, it might bother you. Also, there were some reunion type activities going on, and they were noisy very late into the evening, it didn't bother us, as we were so exhausted, but we could hear them. It was a little hard to find in the dark but we finally made it. The parking area was full so we just parking along the driveway. Might get a bit dirty outside when it is raining. Small twin bed. The bed was very firm - so we found it a little uncomfortable. The sink in the bedroom didn't appear to have a u bend, so there were occasions when it didn't smell too fresh. The hot water system also struggled to fill the lovely corner bath, which was a shame.
