Lovely room with much welcome air conditioning. Really nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Great bathroom and shower. Efficient staff and great position. Although the hotel is just off the road we never heard any traffic noise as the road is quiet even though we were there in peak summer. Spotlessly clean and helpful staff. Also restaurant was really good value for money and excellent quality.

We thought the hotel was in the town but was in fact about 3 miles drive so as hotel restaurant was good but with very limited selection we had to drive into town each evening. Beach only across the road. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, excellent breakfast. The room was a decent size and well equipped, lots of towels etc. The location out of the city and next to the cycle paths The cuteness of the room The beach nearby The welcoming staff. Hotel ran out of beer on our first night!. The hotel was described on its web site as in Ars en Ré. It was 3 k outside of the town. The restaurant is a separate enterprise and was closed Sunday eveneing and Monday, Tuesday lunch as well. Not very good when you have to drive to the nearest town to eat. It's not worth paying for a balcony room as the balcony overlooks the main road, the sea was just in view. The road right in front of the hotel kills a little the "charm" The absence of minibar or way of getting water or any drinks if the restaurant, independent from the hotel, is closes The difficulty sometimes to find somebody at the réception. Expensive for location Limitted sea view.
