  Good location for wandering around Ajaccio. Reasonably modern facilities and the buffet breakfasts were plentiful, varied but basic. The staff were really helpful and with enough English to be able to have good conversation.   We toured Corsica by car in early April, this hotel was our 2nd stop having first stayed in ‘La Pietra’ hotel on the wild peninsula of L’ile Rousse. Les Mouettes has charm and character; it was very clean and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a great view of the gulf. All through our short stay, the staff proved friendly and helpful. A great first night in Corsica !

  This place really grew on us. Although simple in decor the place has a great ambience. Owner is charming and it is very relaxing. Perfect location for west side of Corsica. Great breakfast. Emus living next door - at least, think they were Emus. - Great hostess, fantastic view, great sourrandings.
