The hotell was nicely placed in middle of the city, good service from the staff at the breakfast restaurant, as they failed to fix some vegan-food for my partner, but they fixed it. The breakfast was marvellous; more like a brunch. Good parking facilities behind the facility. Nice and tidy. Good price and good quality. Very friendly crew and everything in the room worked.

I take room without breakfast, since needed to leave early, but there not be in room electric kettle for getting hot water to make coffe or tea at early morning :( Else there wasn`t internet connection in room as was promised in booking page. I had room with window to inner side of the building. It was raining. As far as inside of the building is a kind of patio with large windows in not vertical wall, - whole night was not quiet. The restaurant at the hotel closed at 22.30 so we couldn´t get anything to eat after visiting Åbo teater.non. Housekeeping regarding the rooms left much to be desired. I arrived on a Sunday and found 3 of the 4 pillowcases used (lipstick stains and hairs). Spoons in the coffee-making kit were dirty (sticky with sugar) and wine glasses were also not well cleaned. The fact that the swimming pool was out fo service 4 out of my 5 days should have been mentioned upon booking, as I would have reconsidered my booking. The hotel room was very old and the shower was VERY old looking. Did not really want to use it. Hotel is pretty 1980's all round. Especially bathroom.. Towels weren't entirely clean. Reception didn't know about neighborhood's restaurants' kitchen opening hours (Turku isn't that big, really). It would be better to let clear in the hotel description that the swimming pool is not warm (although it is indoors). The room where the swimming pool is located was not heated properly, making the whole environment really cold. Ugly outward appearance,rooms not very stylish and a little bit worn up. No free wifi, only cable internet, Parking was extra 8 euros. Lounge wasn't nice enough. I suppouse the hotel needs renovation. Unfriendly staff, wifi isn't free of charge despite the fact it says so in letsbookhotel.com. too expensive breakfast comparing to the price of our stay. Wifi is not free of charge. Dust all over the room. Not possible to open windows. Not convinient to use kettle. Value for money - very bad Executive room - very small. Заказывал большой номер, но без предупреждения был заселен в мелньнький, как потом выяснилось из-за отсутствия большого номера с одной большой кроватью. Номера немного обшарпанные. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in Holiday Inns all over the world. Normally Holiday Inn tries to keep a certain standard but this one is by far the worst Holiday Inn I have stayed in. The Internet SUCKS and they virtually have NO TV channels.
