Nice location. Very friendly staff. We arrived rather early but were given the keys. Good breakfast. Sauna was also good but unfortunatly it was open only in the morning (we came on Friday, and it is closed on Fridays...). I liked that the hotel is in the very center of Kotka. The room is very comfortable. The stuff of the hotel is friendly and ready to answer all questions. The staff was very friendly, we got our room 3 hours earlier check-in time.Location is perfect! Nice sauna at the top floor with terrase.

It was calm, good breakfast, location in the very center. very relaxing experience and good location. Jacuzzi in the bathroom!!!. Nice room. Free parking on the streets close to the hotel. Slippers and "normal" shampoo (other than that universal gel from a wall mounted dispenser in a bath) were provided upon my request. Normal clean hotel with rather modern facilities available and centrally located in the town.Comfortable beds. Staff friendly and helpful. Generally, all the hotel. Location is very good. The hotel in general. SIze of room and bed. It would be better to open sauna on Friday evenings. We didn't like the service in the resaurant. The waiters forgot to give us spoons and forks so we had to remind them!. price of night, expencive, small room, sauna doesn't work after 10:00 am - it's very early. Gym hasn't any simulator with a barbell. small (child?) bed for 3rd adult person in our group. There's no shampoo. no complaints. No russian channels No usb accsess in tv. The bar closes very early with staff eager too close. I cannot say that the breakfasts were bad, but every day it was the same set of products. That's really inconvenient to have access to sauna in the morning only. Rather poor breakfast)considering price requested for room.Still cannot understand why Sokos Presidenti located in the very center of Helsinki but not small town Kotka like this one ,costs 20 eur more only and at the same time offering anyway more modern facilities and more delicious breakfast with larger variety available. Be aware that 3rd floor, and room 335 in particular, is above the night club and in front of ventilation units. Impossible to sleep before 03:30 AM. Strongly advice to avoid this part of the hotel!. Bed too soft. Too little staff in Fransmanni; breakfast only medium quality. During heavy rain you cannot sleep at the second floor. The rain comes down and finds somewhere a splash area which gives a 'heavy' beating noise. The heavy rain lasted 30 min. nothng. When I came to hotel my reservation wasn't found and we stayed in the hotel only because there were free rooms. I did not like this situation and want you to do something with this. You need to clean your own table to be able to have a breakfast. Restaurant stuff seems to be just random people who never had any professional training. People at the reception are quite stiff and not kind as expected. Rooms are "allergy" non-friendly with heavy wall to wall dusty carpets. We had family room and kids bad (actually mattresses) were placed on the floor. Absents of fresh air.
