It was a very comfortable apartment, well equipped, with plenty of space. It was a delightful surprise to find guest laundry facilities (at no charge) that made it possible to refresh our clothing halfway through our trip. Very well eqipped kitchen, spaciuos room, nice shower room, good lighting, good forniture.The convenience to city, ease of access and good security. Comfort and personal.
all reviews » I appreciate that even if we arrived at the weekend, when there was nobody at the reception we had all the information sent by e-mail necessary to enter the hotel and find our room easily; it seemed that all the other guests were very nice and good-sensed; during the day and night it was quiet; we especially liked the "retro" style with the tiled stoves, old-fashioned elevator, etc. The independance of having your own apartment. Everything was available to give you the flexibility of relaxing in the apartment or enjoying Helsinki facilities.The room was spacious and homely and the location is convenient (quiet and really close to the city centre). Everything was excellent/. This was a really nice property on a very quiet street in Helsinki. It was not far at all to the city center, and quite close to the tram lines. Unlike a lot of Apartment Hotels that really seem like a hotel room with a kitchen, the apartment at this hotel felt very much like an apartment. We loved it. It was spacious, and it felt very much like living in Helsinki for the week. The sofa-bed was very bad for back.Breakfast was quite poor.. difficult to locate. we asked taxi for 'Helsinki Parliament' as listed but venue is listed as 'Stay At'.Some questions concering trash. The site of hotel is kind of far away from center of the city. It takes about 20 min. by foot. But, It is only 3min. to rock church and 5min to Kiasma museum and central station.Reception is not working on Sat-Sun and you have to leave the hotel before 12:00. My flight was in late evening, so I had to use luggage office in railway station on Sunday. Cramped breakfast arrangements Lack of cooling facility - a fan would have been useful. I arrived after midnight and the hotel was closed and lights were off. I was not provided with the respective codes to open the front door and my room. I was lucky to have a phonenumber to call the hotel service. No hair dryer in room. The breakfast room is not enough for the amount of visitors and bring some inconvenience. the towels could/should be changed more regularly. Would like to see better breakfast. no service about booking a car. Only clean rooms once a week and do not give clean or extra towels unless you pay 2 euros for them. Breakfast area very cramped and felt rushed. It said serviced - but this service is just once a week!! To pay that much for a room (more than 100 euro on average per day) and then you have to make your own bed and also clean your own room!!!??. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is to late. The breakfast rooms was below the standard of the hotel and price.Cigarette smoke entered our room somehow at night. Breakfast below standard. Breakfast was disappointing. The place for breakfast was certainly too small and too crowdy. It isn't comfortable, that on days off you can reach the personnel only by phone and they don't check the e-mail. So you have no opportunity to define some issues on the eve of the arrival and on-site (if you have any troubles). For ex-le, I booked double apartments as triple, but we were not provided with the 3rd bed sheets, but there were no any personnel at the h-l and we just accepted the fact. I arrived when the reception was closed and was unprepared for the closed front door. The code to my key in the box was wrong but a person at the restaurant and a person at the call line help me. The restaurant for the breakfast is too small when a few persons are present. No parking, no room cleaning especially towels weren't changed a single time during all 8 day of our stay. Breakfast is very poor, restaurant is low on places- sometimes we had to wait.Nobody in the reception. The bed's mattresses were simply awful. It did not make for a comfortable sleep.Only once a week clean towels, otherwise extra payment. Breakfast was quite poor quality for the price of the hotel. Breakfast room too small; many people had to wait. They did not give us any breakfast, as they would not serve it befiore 9am and we had to leave early.a commun appartment hotel, it is a shame that it costs to much, 199 eu per night.
