This is the best appartment hotel that we've stayed at. Well designed spacious room with modern furniture and nice kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. We found all nessesary things, such as coffee-machine, toaster, iron, hair drier etc. Good location, near 10-15 minutes from the railwaystation. Good price for this facilities. Great value for money. Very spacious for 2 adults and a child (8 years). Close to Kamppi Shopping Centre and metro. Close to Railway station. Everything we needed, including a washing machine, iron and free wifi. We also enjoyed the balcony. We loved our stay at the SATO and would highly recommend it.

One of two radiators didn't work, that's why it was cold in the room. (We were at the end of March). The television did not work while we were staying there. We did not bother reporting it, as we were not interested in watching TV, but it might be a problem for some people. We did not mind the fact that there was not reception, untill our door code did not work on a Sunday evening after returning from a day trip to Tallinn. Fortunately we were able to contact the customer care service number posted on the front door and the problem were rectified within minutes. That you can only get in at 1600hrs on day of arrival and out already 11am at day of departure!!! Too late on arrivalday and too early on departure day for me!!! (But left suitcase at trainstation locker for the day.). 1. No possibility to put extra bed to an apartment; 2. Heating system worked not ideally (room A13), asked for portable oil heater to warm up the rooms; 3. Lack of russian channels on satillate;. the directions for how to find the hotel could have been a bit clearer. There is nothing I didn't like. No Bag drop, need better blinds/curtains for the windows. In the middle of summer the room stays very light at night. Signage needs to be put on all floors to remind people to close both lift doors. Every day we had to walk up the stairs to the 7th floor as someone on the 6th floor had not closed the doors. There was a nasty amount of hair in the bathroom and living area. no bags drop if you arrive before 4pm. No communal area to meet other residents. No reception on weekends, had to ring for key code. No bag drop facility as room entry not until 4pm. Not so clean kitchen flatware and utensils. Elevator is able to lift no more than 210 kgs. Garbage room not easy-to-find, sometimes locked and there is no possibility to recognize which bin do you need:). drawer where trash was stored was broken in the apartment. Bedding was basic, although clean. There were no dishwashing liquid and sponge, no laundry powder. No parking in front of the hotel. Two sets of towels would have been good and also a dishtowel would be helpful. It was incredibly noisy! While we were there the school playground over the road was being resurfaced, and they started work at 7.15 every morning! Obviously the hotel couldn't help that, but on our final night an almighty row kicked off upstairs and went on for hours. Automatic switching of the lights in the hallway was very inconvenient during a night. All was good. Check-in not before than 16.00. Noise from other guests during the night time. Tiny elevator. all good. Code of garbage room was blocked at 10.30. Dishwasher didn't work. Slow and poor communication with staff, not operating facilties. No ventilation on cooking unit. No shower tray. The elevator!!!!! This thing looks maybe nice and retro. But it is very dangerous for adults and specially for kids. The inside steel door catch our hands more than once, if a child will outlay hand during move it will cut. Have to stop this now. The garbage of guests who were staying before me was still there.
