Location in the heart of Helsinki, 100 m from the bus and tram stops, close to railway and Silja Line terminals. Variety of free meals in the cupboard. Hosts' care about environment (funny signs everywhere). Perfect location close to city center and design district. Friendly personnel, the building is very old and beautiful. You can take a towel and hairdryer at reception. clean rooms, a cozy kitchen, courteous staff is available around the clock, The hotel's location is very convenient, close to attractions and the sea.

The hostel is situated in the city center, the stuff is very friendly and always willing to help. Very good facilities for a very friendly price. Great attitude of all the staff, they are always there trying to help with a big smile. Kitchen really comfortable and full of implements. The room was OK, it even had a mirror and a sink in it. And the shared big kitchen was the best thing, you can make shopping and cook your own food anytime, you get to eat what you want with low prices in that way. The location is close to the main bus/train station, and its near to walk to most of the attractions in the city. the large rooms, the funky, old-fashioned decor, the building in general, the spacious kitchen. Interior of the room is too ordinary, though clean. no elevator!. The common shower had a bad smell. There is no lift to the second floor, decor and furniture has seen better times (very ecological!), but all was clean and functional. Everything was ok. There was not vacant place for parcking. Toilet is very incommodious. Bathroom could be better, toilet could be bigger. nothing. Nothing!. Shared bathroom: it is not like a bathroom of a hotel, it is just one small tiolet used by all which is uncomfortable. The rooms are small with old furnitures, it would be normal for a hostel if its rate was lower. The rate is high for its condition. The construction noise starts at 6am in the morning. had to ask for filters for the coffee machine - either offer them to guests for a small fee (or free) or use a permanent filter; too much furniture in room - why a table with four chairs that nobody used?, not enough space for clothes in room - need some hangers (over the door hanger? coat rack?) for coats or maybe a separate closet outside of the room for bulky outerwear. No elevator! Toilet is soooo small!! Rooms are clean but very old & very small. old and a bit rundown building and facilities. It was too noisy at night because of loudly speaking neighbours. too expensive and only worth half its weight. I would stay at a hotel for the same price or a little more. in short, lower your rates. i.
