The lady in charge is excellent and went out of her way to help, even after we left (my wife forgot her jacket which got locked inside on leaving at 03:00 am. She sent it by post. Relatively central location, within walking distance of most sites. Architecturally beautiful and quiet locality. We were very happy there and would certainly go there again. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious ,everything is perfectly clean. The location is close to city center and main ports by walking. But the area is so queit and peaceful, which make us experience the local life. The host is sweet and patient always. We love here!.
all reviews » The apartment is gorgeous and spacious for one or two people. I loved having a washing machine as i was travelling for a few weeks. The area around felt very safe with some lovely local restaurants and services nearby. The publuc transpirt access was really handy as well. Spacious, well-decorated, clean and perfectly located. The manager was extremely helpful. The Nepalese restaurant across the road was very good and the best coffee in town (hard to find good coffee in Helsinki) was around the corner at "Signora Delizia" cafe. Stayed at Essex apartment 16. It was a very nice apartment. very good equipped and it really feels like home. Good location of the apartment. It was not far away from the center. only a few minutes walk to the port and another 5 minutes to city center. Located on a quiet street , but only 10-12 minutes walk from the Market Square . Tram stop is 3-4 minutes walk . There is a good supermarket near the Tram stop . Clean and homely with dishwasher and washing machine .Seija was very helpful . The owner is very friendly and helpful is you need something. The appartement was amazing with the seaview, well designed and equipped. clean and bright. The beds are very confortable and it is a good place to chill out. Excellent apartment for a reasonable price in the city center. Is there anything even an iron and ironing board. How pleased interior architect, simple and tasteful, creates a joyful mood. Recommend. Was the best stay in whole of my life. Mrs. Seiije was so friendly! The house was clean, safe, silent, cheap and so close to the touristic places and the city center (just by 5min walk). I liked almost everything. FANTASTIC PLACE. Location and tram facilities. Hardly anything negative. Perhaps the shower could be altered so that water does not spillover near the wash-hand basin and a few filters could be made available for the coffee percolator. These are really very minor points, mentioned only to suggest improvements. bathrom was a bit small. 2 little détails : - dishwasher is not working. - shower is a bit small with the curtains a bit too close around. a bit expensive. Absolutely nothing to dislike. Bathroom is rather cramped - but it is an old building after all. Very small shower with only shower curtain which made it messy as water got everywhere. It was too cold in the apartment!. Difficult to think of anything - a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine would have been useful!. I do not like when just bare room with bed + shower and nothing more discomfort. Car parking was at times a slight problem. washing machine does not work. Lack of entertainment tv channels in english. In the shower is not very good floor slope so water accumulates. There is no reception 24 hours.
