It is a cosy, nicely situated and beautifulle furnished hotel. The staff is professional. The food in the restaurant is very good though we were told they had a new cook and because of that not everything on the menue was available. The very friendly and helpful staff and the excellent location of the hotel.The location and the value for money. Very nice atmosphere, fits perfectly to the filling you make during walking around old town. The restaurant in hotel deserves only the best praises. I loved what I'd got on my breakfast and the rest of the kitchen is really good. Very friendly staff willing to keep conversation if you are bored.

The rum price was calculated according to the exchange rate, it means no matter what is the sum what is on your booking list, the final rate might be different.Room heating not operational in September. Inadequate provisions forescape in case of fire, (fourth floor). i booked for a smoking room, but when we got there it is told that all rooms are non-smoking.if i knew that, most probably i would booked from somewhere else..the information given was not right!. The carpet in the rooms and in corridors is worn out and scrappy. There are rooms in basement without windows a detail which should be mentioned when doing reservation. Is it even legal to have hotelrooms like that? Cleanliness of the rooms could have been better. The hotel is not suitable for people who has difficulties with stairs, there is all kind of staircases, some of them very steep. We had trouble with the booking. Staff wasn´t aware that we had booked a better (deluxe) room and placed us first in the cellar room with no windows. When checking out, the staff tried to charge us 100 euros more than the price letsbookhotel.com had confirmed. Also there were no curtains in the deluxe room.No internet connection in the room, signal to week. Long and narrow corridors with sheer stairs - very hard to carry bigger and/or havier suitcase. we made reservation for double de lux and get standart twin. the room was spacious, but had only one little velux roof window.
