We just came back from an unforgettable stay at the sunrise Arabian beach (March 6th till 14th 2013). My kids did not want to come back to Paris :-) The Sunrise truly far exceeded our expectations balancing price against quality of service in all areas. all reviews » This was our first holiday for four years; we went from 26th April - 2nd May 2013 and we were a bit apprehensive as although the majority of the reviews for this hotel were positive, there were some derogatory, negative reviews; however all fears or concerns we had swiftly evaporated and never reappeared. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and given an extremely warm welcome by Ashraf and Hamada. We were relieved of our suitcases (the next time we saw them was in our room), led to some c. It’s an unforgettable stay at the sunrise Arabian beach during our last month-end kids spring holiday. Overall, we have had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in this hotel and would love to come back again. It’s truly far exceeded our expectations, the price against quality of service in all areas. Imagine, we have just complete our ‘lousy’ 4D/3N Nile River Cruise, which also claim as 5 starts, but if compare with this hotel…nothing much the river cruise can compare . The food was excellent. B. That was excellent experience staying in Sunrise, every thing was excellent starting from the first moment we entered the hotel till the last moment we left. It was our first trip to Egypt and we choose this hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor. The hotel in our opinion is very well laid out with its 5 pr so swimming pools there is always space to lay around without feeling that people are sitting on you. The choice of food was good, plenty of it now matter when you arrived. The staff were very helpful, multilingual and always ready to try and resolve even the smallest of issues to try and make our stay a pleasure able experience. We wou. The hotel facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - I was very impressed witb the care and support that was provided by Eman and his staff when one of our party was unwell the night we arrived. He ensured a doctor was called immediately and he checked daily to make sure everything was ok. Excellent location with everything you would need. Rooms were fantastic and the staff were so nice and friendly, to us this was a big positive. Our family went the all inclusive package and it was well worth it. The resort has 5 different restaurants and all were very good with a wide range of food and drinks. Great for families. There are a number of pools and 2 slides for the kids, so plenty to keep them busy. We loved the place and could not fault one single thing. Amazing welcome and from that time onwards everything was ideal , ashrif at the waterfall grill couldn't do enough , animation team amazing as we was just on romantic holiday , they did respect our privacy and wasn't pushy at all ! Food was good , mind you I was on Imodium tablets from day 1 and did not suffer anything but my partner went down day 5 , overall I've been staying in Egypt many times , this was by far the best hotel so far !. Good quality, new hotel, staff are friendly and helpful although some are pushy. If you need anything done by the reception staff it can turn into a big deal with 3 or 4 staff involved in even a minor request, this may be due to language barrier although everyone appears to speak fair English. Food was good quality, spa and gym were well equipped. Snorkeling is well worth doing, very safe, well organised and cheap to hire snorkel. Fantastic and luxuries resort that values its guests to the maximum extent, these guys really know the meaning of "customer service". Absolutely great food in all-inclusive 6 different cuisines prepared by Indian, Thai and French chefs. Really indulging and spoiling experience. Fair to say the best Hotel in Sharm. Ghany is the best bar tender, Oskana is the best animator and Karam is the best receptionist ever. Hotel staff was extra nice, we got upgraded to the sea view due to the fact the check in took a bit longer and we had to wait for about 30 min! It was a nice gesture. In genenal, staff was very friendly. since the first minute of getting into the hotel we are received like a prince, everybody is so kind and helpfull. To be fair the day we left we were told that they were installing new equipment to resolve the connection issues. The Internet access was advertised as free in all areas of the resort including the rooms,however Internet access was very limited everywhere, difficulty on a daily basis getting a connection,. As there are many stairs from the beach to the main pool it can get a little bit tiring. I would have liked to have been able to walk to a shopping parade. These were a taxi ride away. There is a dress code of long pants for the men when eating at some of the restaurants which was not advertised. Being a place that is so hot I didn't feel the need to bring any which led to an uncomfortable situation on the last night were I was told that needed them. The manager reluctantly allowed me to eat at the restaurant. The hotel should advertise that a dress code is required in some restaurants to avoid embarrassment in the future as others were also told to change. Haggling can be a bit too much , be prepared to be ripped off , as we went to Egypt August ,we was about 25 guest in a massive complex so they had no bussines , if you walk into the shop be prepared to walk out with much less money and little something as a souvenir ! We had booked swim up room although room is amazing on balcony you get sun about 6.00-6.30 in the morning , also pool is cold !. Trying to contact letsbookhotel.com was a nightmare when our transfer failed to appear, it took 4 calls at vast expense, calls appear to be handled in the usa and each time we called we had to go through exhaustive booking details which was really irritating and time consuming. We won't be in a hurry to book with letsbookhotel.com again. Only that the Wifi internet was very unstable. Otherwise nothing :-). Everyting was top class. The hotel is still being finished and is due to be completed in the next few weeks. This was not a problem at all and there wasn't building noise but there were contractors on site in the unoccupied areas. This genuinely was not a problem but I think it's good for future guests to know. Lack of information re: opening times for restaurants, need to book in advance, etc. Alaa on reception was not very nice and the staff on the pool bar kept changing prices and put us off from using that bar. The animation and animation team is very poor, the food is poor as well. Wifi service was not good although it is free, the login procedure is so stupid make it so intermittent, a shuttle bus is available only to soho square (which is arranged by Soho square itself not the hotel) and no bus to Naema Bay, the airport - hotel taxi fare is relatively high ($22) in spite of the short distance. Service very poor Italian restaurant. I think it was down to lack of management and organisation. Snorkelling not quite as good as other areas but definitely would go back. The stay was not long enough!. You were lucky when you could access the Wifi... Since the hotel has opened in November last year it isn't yet finished so they still got to work on the fine tuning regarding cleanness of the rooms! Wi-Fi was a problem... It didn't work in the room and I had problems with it also on main terrace in front of the lobby, this should really be improved!. None. Music playing everywhere, found it hard to relax, but I think this is normal in Sharh El Sheikh hotels. The toilets have a bad smell, I called the staff to find whats wrong with it, but they just clean it and use air refreshner which doesn't help to fix the problem and just make a temporary solution, in the end I discover that they have a problem in the sewer system and can't be fixed, and the hotel is full of insects. Nothing. Having to pay for bottles of water after the allocated 2 per day in the room had been used. The ice cream service at the pool bar ceased at exactly 5 pm and although the bar was open they would not serve. These just seemed petty for such a great resort. it needs more ideas for entertainment especially at night. Not all bilding process still finished. The Wi-fi was poor and it made staying in contact with work more difficult than it should have been. Our older children were able to entertain themselves but really a week was their limit. The main buffet was not so good. Only the main pool was heated and it was still too cold. Hard to get reservations at the a la carte restaurants. If there was one thing that could be improved was the menu at the central pool bar, very limited and the A la carte restaurants food could be much better. Didn't like the buffet, but that had nothing to do with the hotel would just prefer full "A la Carte" service. Should have an ATM on site. No diversity foodwise - then again I've rarely seen buffet style food that can live up to 5 star standards (except once on a cruise), but the fish was never seasoned, most main courses were bland and bite size cake desserts all taste the same even though you see chocolate colored or strawberry colored.
