Dahab Paradise is 10 minutes’ drive from Dahab town centre. The hotel can also organize day trips to Petra.

The staff team were very helpful and caring, nothing was too much trouble. I loved the Towel Art, a nice touch to the room cleaning which was excellent and effecient. A good atmosphere was provided and as a solo traveller this really is important to feel included and cared for. The pool, garden, restaurant and Arisha were lovely. It is usually windy along this coast..during winter when the wind is stronger some 'wind protection' by the pool would be very welcome as I found it to cold to sit out sometimes.

Airport 6-7 hours drive (1 hour by plane) from Cairo Sites worth visiting: The Saint Catherine Monastery, located by the footsteps of Mount Sinai in the south of the peninsula is one of the oldest functioning Christian monasteries of the world, and is on the site where Moses is supposed to have seen the burning bush. It hosts one of the largest libraries of early codices and manuscripts, second only to the Vatican. The Ras Mohammed is conveniently located close to Dahab and was established as a reserve for marine and terrestrial life of the Red Sea. Its shoreline configurations and coral reef ecosystems are recognized as among the best of the world. You should also take the opportunity to visit Pharaoh’s island by the Gulf of Aqaba, which hosts a citadel built by crusaders in the 12th century.
