The hotel is located in new cairo which is a fairly new part of greater Cairo, i was a little hesitant making my booking as it was a bit far from the sightseeing i wanted to visit, but actually it worked out fine as i was away from all the problems of downtown cairo and all the places i wanted to visit were easily accessible from the ring road and the hotel provided city tours and transportation. My room, actually more of a suite, was spacious, very clean and comfortable with a seprate bedroom .
all reviews » I loved the professionalism from the staff. Mr Amr was impeccable in his dealings with us both online and in person. He booked the taxis for us from the airport and their own taxi service is great and the drivers are friendly and speak English. The taxis service was very flexible and the taxi rates were really good. The staff of this hotel make it a very warm and welcoming place. When ordering a take out the staff helped me heaps by translating what I wanted. They even let me use their mobile p. Really liked staying there at the hotel, it was nice being in new cairo in such a quite place, bit far from down town to make you comfortable and find relaxation place after long day business internet is still not wired nor wireless but they provide 3G USB stick for you, so you can take it anywhere or even fix the SIM inside your phone and use as WIFI Hotspot for Internet anywhere Khalid is the taxi services manager they are dealing with, and this is there best feature, makes the places near to. The place perfectly provided us with what we were looking for, a very friendly staff... Very cost effective, very clean, discrete and privacy. The place has a gym, the studio was equipped with everything you may need from microwave, full kitchen, fridge, LCD with a satellite cable, modern and clean furniture, the bathroom is very clean and modern as well. Beds are comfort. I would always recommend staying there, the location is strategic if you need to be in the surrounding areas in general - I. I truly enjoyed my stay at newcity, an excellent place. Sparkling clean. Well run. I like the quietness which is quite a change from the very noisy Cairo. My suite was very comfortable with all required features for a long stay. I had breakfast brought up to my room in the morning which was very convenient. Staff spoke very good English.The manager is American which made communication very easy. I used the GYM it is free and is well equipped, also the laundry room has several washers and dryers. The staff was very warm and welcoming, the facility was excellent and the service was great, the place itself is very close to everything which was great, also the taxi service was good since it saved us the hassle of being ripped off by some taxi driver! In all it was great and we will definitly come back. There is a very good rates for transportation for the hotel residents. The hotel is clean and the room has all faculties. I didn't try their food but I liked the idea that you can order from any fast food restaurant and the menus are available. The design is modern and very comfortable. i liked the design and cleanness of the rooms ,also all facilities are there electric cooker,fridge,nice furnature free laundry service,transportation serivce with very good prices ,resturant with very good quality of food -value for money free USB modem for Internet access. In my opinion, staff always makes a huge difference with how you feel during your stay. They were very welcoming and friendly. The value for the space and service you receive is good. Moreover, the rooms actually looked exactly like the photos online which is very rare. Enjoyed the homey&worm feel the place reflects,the kitchen in the suite was well equipped. The entrance for the hotel area is still under construction, so you may experience unknown place; better you take the gps Point and call the Hotel Manager or even accept their taxi to take you from Airport because their price cheaper than anywhere and driver knows the place well. Nothing. The water of the shower was not hot enough. No internal phone to call the room service - I think that it will be amended soon. Clothes hanger was missing in the bathroom to dry washed clothes. Lights were dim in the room with not much option to increase the brightness. The hot water in the shower was not extremely hot as i like, but was ok though. Generally the staff was not very friendly. Far away from Cairo city and it is difficult transporting. The location. Lack of food and dining options inside the hotel. No wifi as mentioned. cleaning, communication.
